I am sure she wouldn't mind if you did the same.

Great idea! But, with about 2 months notice I guess that constitutes an appointment. Dang.  Looks like I'd better get to it

I am working today, usually have Tuesdays off but had to accommodate my client.

The surgeons office called and he wants to see me tomorrow to review the tests etc. About time one of them saw me.

Today I am posting grades and getting my syllabi ready for fall.  Also, I am taking a professional development for professoriate this fall and am going to go ahead and get the books. 

Hubby is having another colonoscopy tomorrow and an endoscopy.  He is in another flare up and before they do the big guns, they want to biopsy his lesions.  Then, he will take the medicine and hopefully get under control again.  His whipples is doing good, but his chrones is awful.  He will probably lose some of his intestine over this. 

I need to schedule another endo too but just don't see when I can get it done.  I have to have it done before I go back for my appointment with my surgeon.  ARGH.  I don't mind the test, but I do mind going off my ulcer meds for the test.  I have to be off them for a week. 

I may do some retail therapy.  Hubby is feeling a little guilty over a little argument we had.  Hell, it wasn't a little argument; it was huge.  Of course, I have a way to make him think it is all his fault.  HEHE.  So, maybe we'll go to the mall and I'll get a new fall purse and shoes.

Retail Therapy......love it!  Perhaps that's what I need to do.  Although I did by a new pair of sandals to match the bag I picked up last year and just started using.....perfect match and it's not easy to match "apple green".

morning margo and OFF family...well today its still muggy but not as bad as its been!!! the ac in my car refused to work yet again yesterday....grrrrr so today i AM going to look for a car and see if i can get atleast what i owe on it for a trade in!!! i am so tired of this car breaking down and i have no money for the repairs....sighs....

tonight is baseball game and hopefully the weather will be nice enough to enjoy the game.

nothing else new here so will say TTFN and remember to :-)

I have not been to a single Met's game this year, very unusual for me.........I miss it!!
Oh well, I've got lots of other stuff going on, I'll get to the new stadium next year.

Hi Margo and all my OFF friends,
It is sticky and hot here - in the 90's.  So hubby and I are nixing going to the concert on the green tonight.  We left the air conditioner on low while we are at work so it will be bearable when we get home from work.  I can't really complain.  We've had an unusually cool summer so far.

My eating has been horrible.  I've got to get back on track.  I am hovering at my personal limit to gaining.  I will not go any further.  But I am scared. I've been eating out too much.  That period seems to have passed and I will be cooking from here on out so I should gain control.  Salmon tonight I think.

I'll be going to coffee with my sisters and cousins on Thurs. night.  We'll catch up and have a few laughs.

I've been married 37 years and we seem to have a cyclical marriage - love, hate, love, hate, love ... you get the picture.  I'm in the hate phase right now.  The man is just irritating the h*ll out of me.  This too shall pass I guess.  This is part of my emotional eating.  I think I should get into the habit of screaming a little more. LOL.

Good Morning!

More of the same here......It's hot, has not rained in almost a week which is kind of nice....I think we are supposed to get some rain tonight.

Starting to feel more back to normal after the arm surgery 2 weeks ago........rode my bike for the first time this morning, it was fabulous!  I have to get out earlier tomorrow because going at 7am is just too hot with the arm compression bandages wrapped all around me.......uncomfortable!

My big exciting news is I finally found a plastic surgeon I really like and feel comfortable with.  I've got my plan all set and will have my first really big one done on Sept 2nd.  Can't wait to see myself without all this hanging skin around my gut.  I'm also going to have "the girls" re-lifted at the same time.

My BF was supposed to be coming for a visit at the end of this week for a few days but won't be able to    I'll see her later in the year.

I stubbed my little toe so hard I some how ripped the nail right out!!!!  What a bloody mess....it's sore and swollen.

Well off I go........gotta start getting organized........need to plan what I have to cook pre-surgery so there is plenty of stuff (2 weeks worth at least) for Matthew to pop out of the freeze and reheat.  He's very supportive of this surgery stuff and has become a really cook too but I like to at least have a bunch of stuff ready in case he doesn't feel like doing a whole big cooking.
