08-12-09 One Year WLS Anniv.

Today is my one year WLS Anniv. I am so very glad it has been a year since the WLS. It has been a year to remember. All the friends I have met on the OH sites, and my very Dear friend Pat A who listened to all my woe's and wow moments throughout this past year. It always helps to have Friend who has had WLS, to get through the highs and lows one goes through, and Pat A was that very special person that did that for me. W LS does change your life in many ways and I am so very glad to have the surgery. I no longer have  Diabetes, and not longer take all the RX for it. I live a healthier life, in more ways than you can imagine.  Losing the weight was a bonus with this surgery. No one said it was easy, and I agree with them.. It is a day to day thing you have to live for the rest of your life, and learn from it for the rest of your days..to eat right,exercise and go onward and downward. I have a normal BMI now and that was one of my goals to achieve before today.
Thanks to each and everyone of you OH/Off  and Main site and the OH for being there for people like me.

Good mornin, Glory!!  Happy, Happy Surgiversary!!  We made it, didn't we??  And look at you!!  A normal BMI, WOW is right!!  I'm so happy that we've had this opportunity to meet and you've encourged me along the way.  Suzette, you've done it all yourself and you've done great.  Aren't you just so happy with the person you are today??  Heck, I know you are!
Now, enjoy your day and we will celebrate with our PJ camping party, which starts TOMORROW!!!  I can't wait.........

Good Morning Pat and a big CONGRATULATIONS on your one year surgiversary.  It sounds like you Colorado girls (you and Suzette) are going to have a celebration together.  I think that is just awesome.  What a fantastic year it's been I'm sure!!

Sandy!!  Thank you.  You've done a pretty fantastic job yourself, my friend.  I've watched you all along the way and you aren't to your 1 year yet.  Great job you are doing.  I know that you've worked very hard.
Suzette and I are taking some "me" time just for us tomorrow and having a girls PJ party!  Isn't that a fun way to celebrate?  Next week doing the same with Carla.  It's a way to get to know each other, just by sitting and yaking, haha.
