Linda I love the cottage cheese and peaches for a meal.  I also like to put the hot dog in my salad.  My husband says that he can take me out of the trailer but...  Well, he doesn't mean a real trailer, but that I am just country.

Good morning lovely one,

Sounds like you're catching up on much needed rest. Hope it helps you to feel better.

I'm pretty proud of myself. I seem to have kicked the dark chocolate demon!!! WhooHoo!  Three times I've gone to the grocery store, and there, right in front of me at the check out stand are those lovely little Dove dark chocolate bars. So easy to grab and to. Well, I didn't grab...just went!

Yesterday:

latte
2 slices of roast beef on mini whole grain bagel

protein drink

3 slices roasted turkey wrapped around LF cream cheese

1/2 Atkins granola bar

1/2 sliced barbqued bologna (yeah, I know it's weird, but DH loves it and I haven't made it for about 15 years), beans, corn on cob

cherries

Okay, off to shower and take the color off my hair

Susan,I am proud of you. They put those bars at check out on purpose!
You stay tuff, and if anyone tells you you look heavier say: "You know you do too,but I was not going to say anything,I see a few more wrinkles on you too".
That'll get 'em!

Linda, you're so funny! Sounds like you're feeling more like you're "old" self. I'm so glad!

I'm enjoying a little snack right now you might like. Cottage cheese with  a few spoonfulls of NSA Cherry Pie filling. Makes me think cherry cheesecake!  Nom

Good morning to you sweetie. I hope that your day goes great.

Yesterday Bill went in to the hospital. He inhaled bleach fumes at work on Tuesday night and that is the cause. I only pray that he doesn't sustain permanent damage from this mess. He and I will soon be fighting for workman's comp. Thank heaven that my bff Ella knows so much about it...she is being such a big help. I am so grateful to have her!

Food yesterday was crazy...finally ate my first bit of food after 4 in the afternoon. We were at the e.r. for 8 hours before they put him in a room. It was a mess if you ask me. But then no one was asking me! ha ha

1st food...turkey sandwich w/ onions
2nd food...2 slices of toast with ICINB on them
S: none I was to tired to eat!!!

I did drink several small glasses of milk so that is good. I had 2 pieces of turkey on the sandwich so that was good too. I did drink my own hazelnut iced coffee and that is decaf so it counted toward the fluid too. That is good for me. On the whole it wasn't as bad as it could have been!

I better go...gotta do some calling on the workman's comp crap...I have a feeling it is going to be a fight...and then see if Bill comes home or not. Then hopefully I will be able to do some paper work sorting for the church papers I have for the committees I chair. I am hoping that they are done at the end of the year....please oh please!!!

Have a great day and know that I am sending love and big hugs to you my dear one. I love you so....and prayers are being said for you and yours. Look at my ticker...it has changed for the better if you ask me! Don't forget to scatter...and you do such a good job of that right here in our little OFF family too!

Brenda,I hope Bill will be ok,this is quite serious. You lost those 2 pounds without thinking about it good for you.
Get those work comp papers going, they may not give him any funds until this is settled.
Good thoughts and prayer to you and Bill.

Linda, the company is being a real **** No one is co operating with me or returning my phone calls either. I finally got a call back from his supervisor late this morning. She asked how I was and different things before she even asked Bill was doing. I find that odd. She danced around the fact that they are calling this workman comp case. I was suppose to get a call from the operations manager (the piece of **** that he is...just my own opinion) and I got nothing. I called his cell phone tonight and got voice mail. I left a message that was said in a firm voice that I want the form and the doctors name. That I know it is a federal law that they give this information to me. I told him to call me back right away and so far.....about 2 and a half hours later...nothing. Are we surprised? NO!!!!!!!!  The stress is getting to me. I am just going to make an appointment to see a lawyer. Let him deal with it.

Brenda...you are going to have to fight hard, and the way they got me is there would be no sick pay until it was settled. My back still hurts and I have to pursue this seperately from my illness.
It is the law that they have to file it....so keep pushing.
