Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty

I am not afraid of the spider.  I think the mouse thing is because I know they, like roaches, crawl around the sewer and pipes and yuck.  Plus, they run really fast and are sneaky and remind me of Hitler.  I know.  Makes no sense. 

Hey, I'm an animal lover from the get go, but I'd be giving that kitty an extra treat. I don't mind mice outside but don't want them anywhere near me inside.

A few years back I was praising my Yorkie for eating his "doggie" food so well. Little kibbles of hard food when he used to just leave it sitting there hoping for "people" food. Well, as I'm praising away with him on my lap I hear "crunch, crunch" coming from the utility where the dog food and water are. . . Yep, feeding a mama mouse AND her younguns! The food no longer is left on the ground. You want it, you eat it in a prescribed amount of time or it's up until night time.

I did give her extra attention.  She can no longer have extra food treats because, sigh, she is, according to the vet, obese.  He calls her fat ass and says she is not big boned.  I say, but she has such big paws and he says no that she has a tiny head and tiny paws and a big belly and a big ass. Once, he said to her, get your fat ass over here and I said, hey, I heard that.  He laughed.  But, he also kissed her head and said she was a good kitty.  So, a little deprecating humor is okay.  She isn't old enough to understand that her body is not normal. LOL  I do love her.

Sure doesn't sound like Kitty is very afraid!!!  LOL! We have outside cats and they bring me headless bunnies and birds.

This was her fast mouse and before she got her courage, she was terrified and intrigued.  Now she stalks every single sound. LOL.  I suspect the mice will no longer be so brave. 

I don't like mice either but I must say about 1/2 down reading this was laughing out loud!!!!!

I am TERRIFIED of snakes....I check under the bed for them........I never step into the garage without turning on the lights first, I do not slip my feet into shoes/sneakers/boots without first checking inside.

My brother in law got up to go to work and slipped his boots on and was stung three times by a scorpion.  After that, he always checks his boots.  I live where snakes are really common and when I see them I go yikes, but I cannot say that I am snake phobic.  In fact, I refuse to posion outside for ticks and fleas because I don't want to kill the grass snakes which kills the mice.
