finally--FRIDAY!!!! what's new revue.....
It is getting to the high 80's today and then the week end is going to be in the 90's. I hate that kind of temperatures. I like them in the high 70's to the low 80's. That is much more comfortable to live in than what it has been around here.
Kenny Chesney was on Good Morning America this morning and every time I see him I think of the remark that my niece told me. He isn't married because he hasn't met her yet. She is the one that is meant to be his wife. I think of that often...she is something else, let me tell ya!
Bill might come home today. I am kind of worried and told the nurse last night. He walked 6 steps without his oxygen and got short of breath. I told the nurse that since I knew that he wouldn't. She told me that they will walk him in the halls with out the oxygen before sending him home. They will report their findings to the doctor.
Still having a problem with that darn company. They are not co operating with me at all. I told them that I need the comp form and a name of the doctor they want him to see. I also told them that they have to give me this information according to federal law. It was like it went right through her head. Well..maybe it did because I sometimes wonder what is in there to stop anything from not doing it. The operations manager was going to call me and nothing. I called his cell and left a message yesterday and still nothing. I am calling the corporate office and see what happens. Then I am calling Vicki back and tell her that I am giving them until 9:00 a.m. Monday to have the information to me because I am leaving shortly after 9 to go to a attorney. I have chosen the one that I want to go to and he is a barracuda with the name well known. Everyone knows that he gets what he wants...and they are afraid of him. He is mighty powerful around here. My sister had him with her car accident and he did very well for her. I am calling to make an appointment with him and that way Bill and I are going to feel better about this whole thing. He is getting upset about it and that isn't good for him either.
Well, I better go..I want to go to the library today too...books are due and I need to get them back. I am sending love and hugs to all of you and prayers are being said for everyone too. Don't forget to scatter and even if you give it back to yourself that isn't bad either. Sometimes we need to know the good things that happened in our lives. We sometimes forget.
For once I am glad it's Friday....Slept good last nite once I got thru the pain with my crazy foot....as soon as I hit the bed it starts in and it's terrible....
Managed to run the sweeper yesterday afternoon - also baked a loaf of zucchini bread to bring into work today for a carry-in. Filled up the finch feeder and hummingbird feeder....so it was a busy afternoon.
Not much planned for the weekend - it's to get into the 90's again but with not such high humidity....still too hot for this old lady. Will watch the PGA golf tournament and rest.
Special thoughts and prayers to those in need...

Done! Your Ticker:
I've already packed up the upstairs bathroom this morning, except the drawers that I use daily. Now I'm going to disconnect the printer from my laptop and put all of the computer stuff in a box except my laptop. Three of the four bedrooms upstairs are completely bare. Just can't believe the stuff we have. I know I keep saying that, but it's like after I pack a box, things just multiply.
Well, work to be done, and sitting here isn't getting me anywhere.
Tomorrow is another day!

Over-medium or boiled I am fine with and I know lots o folks that are the same way post RNY.
And I used to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the American Slam at Denny's - never left a crumb on the plate pre-op!!

Don't know what my "posting" problem has been this week. I've been trying to report my food on the "What's eating" thread. I come in and spend a few minutes reading and maybe responding to a few posts but don't get back. I've been busy with canning tomatoes, salsa, pickles. . . Sorting more of Mom's pictures and sending them out to relatives who would enjoy them. Just busy and that's good.
I'm reading MY SISTER'S KEEPER. Lots of food for thought. Years ago when I heard about a woman having a child in order to help "save" an older child by providing cord blood and being a genetic match I thought "I would do anything to save my child." I still believe that but I sure didn't think of this from the "saver's" point of view. To always be available when your sister needs transfusions, kidneys, you name it. . . and to not have been consulted when this began. Actually before birth and at birth when the umbilical cord was saved. Lots of things to think about. When I fini**** I'd like to discuss it in a separate thread.
Thinking about going to see "Time Traveler's Wife" today. Our movie critic didn't like it, but we usually don't agree about any movies!
Going to the nursery to try to pick out the "perfect" tree for a very specific area of the back yard. Not too wide, not too tall, not too large of a root ball, but that will provide shade without blocking the view! May be a bit difficult. Oh yes, must be able to walk under when it spreads above the sidewalk. Suggestions?????
Maggie's waiting for her morning walk so best yet going. Have a good day and a great weekend.

Tom and I are going to see Time Travelers Wife. We both read it. I read it twice and listened to it on tape. It is one of my most favorite books. I know the movie won't be as good as the book but I hope it is good for a movie.
I read My Sister's Keeper a long time ago. Haven't seen the movie but plan on it maybe when it comes out on DVD.
Our weather is down right cold. How bout your's?
