If things are ok with your daughter and she is coming to the realization that she needs you and should be treating you like the treasure that you truly are, then that is ok.  Every family has issues and addiction issues are potentially destructive.  You need to vent and ask for help--there is no weakness in that at all.  As a matter of fact, you are strong--you are dealing with this without who was my best friend too--Food.

I would like to make an effort to post my food so I can be accountable.  I just hit the one year mark, have done well and things are slowing down.  Reading and posting helps me keep things in perspective.

Yesterday:

Pre-breakfast at work- 1/2 multi grain David's bagel with 1 tbsp whipped cream cheese
Breakfast-other 1/2 multi grain bagel with 1 tbsp whipped cream cheese
Morning snack-Greek yogurt with 1 boston cream pie sf pudding cup
Lunch-small wendy's chili with cheese and 1/2 a small frosty
Afternoon snack-Greek yogurt with sf jam
Dinner-2 pieces Papa Murphy's Delite veggie pizza
Late snack-1 Aldi Wildberry Sorbet bar

I didn't go to the gym yesterday but I went Sunday, Monday and Thursday this last week for 2 hours each day.

Today is State Fair Day and I am going to do my best.  So far:

Breakfast-Greek yogurt with sugar free cheesecake mix and Toriani sugar free syrup and a little ff cool whip to smooth things up
Rest of the day is up in the air-State Fair and Goodwill shopping

Since I can't post at work (I do read at lunchtime), I will post yesterday's and the start of today's if that is ok.

Have a glorious day all!!

I haveb;t eaten anything today yet.  I'm feeling crummy - diahrrea on and off for weeks.
Not a pleasant topic of discussion, but I don't know what to do.
This morning so far I have just been drinking crystal lite.

I did have sugarless popsicles with the creme center.  Could that be a problem?

You are pretty early out so that may be.  For a while, stick to the plain ones.

Hope you feel better--keep hydrated.

Jean,I have never had that ice cream.but I am told to be careful of new things,so maybe if you back out of it one food at a time, you may find the problem.
Good luck.

Hi
Loving thoughts being sent to you and your daughter.....

I'm doing well on maintenance......not gaining not lossing (bouncing back and forth with less than 1/2 a pound (.3) so I'm not at all worried.  For the next 2 weeks tho I will try to lose a couple lbs but will keep my protein way high in preparation for surgery (tummy tuck and breast lift) in 2 weeks.

Todays food-

B- Oatmeal (my mix with seeds, nuts, raisins, cinnamon, flaxseed oil)
S- Protein Powder (Whey) Vanilla
L- Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza) and salad
S- Coffee, 1/2 apple, 1/2 banana, 1 square dk choc
D- Stuffed peppers, not sure what I'll have with them yet...
S- fruit (cantaloupe probably)

I suspect I will want to do that if I lose the weight -
CONGRATS on being on maintenance.  For me, that seems like a world away from me now.
But it will only be a month tomorrow since my RNY surgery.
I have lost 36 pounds.

This morning I did not feel well - bowel upset.   So, I only had a piece of cheese for bf and lunch.
Drank a lot of fluid, and had a protein drink.
Then I went to Bariatric Eating (about 15 min from us) and got some sugar free ketchup, vitamin powder (to pour in water), and protein drinks.  I love going there to visit with the others who have had surgery.

Got home and had a salad & cheese with *full* fat dressing (just a little).  Now I am cooking saffron lamb in tomato sauce.

A month ago it hurt too much to stand in the kitchen long enough to cook anything.  I consider this progress.
