Stupid Monica trick. . .

actually a Stupid Karen C trick, but I'll pay tribute to Monica B for coining the phrase. Last night I was wanting something sweet and salty. Anything. . . . you know when desperate.?So I scrounged until I came up with this concoction: sunflower kernals (salty) and mini chocolate chips.  Not very many, but oh my! What a mess. They kind of glommed together on the way down and I was in a world of hurt within minutes. Made myself upchuck and still felt rough for about an hour. Note to self: don't EVER try that one again! Another note to self: the tool still works!

 That SOUNDS awful.  
Today I went out to lunch with colleagues - the first time since surgery not quite a month ago.
I was able to order lox & a hard boiled egg.   That went down pretty well.   I was excited just about getting out again.

I didn't say anything about sugar free! Somehow these glommed together and made a wad that was just miserable. Lesson learned as long as my memory holds out!

Here's one for you....

Sugar Free chocolate is not, I repeat NOT!, fat free.  And if you eat two good sized chunks of it, you get lots of exercise, running to the potty.  It's been a LOOOOONG night!
