3 years ago today

you know what i forgot about it till just now....was 3 years ago today that i had my Lap RNY one of the most important days of my life....i have totally changed my life around...i think at 65 i guess a lot of people thought i was being silly but i knew in my mind i wasnt ready to die yet...or to be stuck in a chair and might as well be dead...now getting close to 69 i feel so good and do more things than ever. i love my life and my rny and wish i could have done it years ago...

Jan, congratulations on the first 3 years of your new and improved life. I know what you are saying about wishing you had done it years ago. I felt like that too. Then someone told me that I wasn't ready back then and it took me until then to come to the decision to have it. I know that you love your new and improved life....I know this because I love mine too.

Congratulations Healthy and Beautiful Lady.....I hear you loud and clear.  Although my one year surgiversary isn't until November , the changes my RNY has done for me are too numerous to list in these last 9 months.  I had my WLS four days after my 66th Birthday in 2008.....The best birthday present I could ever have received.
