Morning Carla & OFFr's,

Hope you had a nice conversation with Brenda and enjoy Denver!

I've been up for over an hour courtesy of dear old Dillinger, who woke me at 3:58 this morning so he could get out of the room and have a drink, a potty break and let's not forget the treat he gets when he comes in the house from potty breaks. . .  what a spoiled SOB he is!  But I'm grateful he is here waking me up STILL, amazing how each time I think his time has come, he rallies yet again, must be all the time I now have to spend with him, because Monday to Friday I am totally dedicated to going to work, mostly doing AA meetings that are lunchtime ones near where I work, and then just going home to spend the evenings with him and you would laugh if you ever heard how he greets me when I walk through the door, he makes the hollowing sound that sounds like he is saying mwahhhh, my roommate laughs everytime, it's the funniest thing and he only began doing it over the last few months. . .  anyway, I think I am going to try to get a little more shut eye, as I have a busy day ahead and a lunch date with Mystic (Jacki) to keep!

You all have a marvelous day!

Hugs, prayers and sleepy thoughts, Laureen

Laureen, I so love the Dillinger stories too. I feel like I know him and he is such a sweetie from the pictures. Big doggy babies are my favorite as they are with Bill too. The bigger the better...more to love on I guess.

Please give Dillinger love and hugs from his Auntie Bren and Misty would like to give him a loving "Meow".

Gee, Carla, you sure are getting around these days!  Glad you're able to do it, and hope you have a great time.

Laureen, your stories of Dillinger are so heartwarming. I'm experiencing the same thing with our Old Dog, Sherlock. He can't get through the night without going out, so now we just let him stay out in the living room where he has access to food, water and his doggy door. We're all getting more rest. I've had to start making his food, he no longer will eat "dog" food. So, twice a week I cook up 3# ground turkey and mix it with brown rice and scrambled eggs, and he seems to be doing much better now. Gary and I both know his time is limited, so we do what we can for the old guy.

I have a busy day at work today, and even have to go in an hour early...AGHHHHHHHHHHH One of my clients is a high schooler who's time got away from her. Heaven forbid she should go back to her all girl school with a regrowth on her highlights!!!! Poor planning on her part does not constitute an emergency on mine. But...it's over $100 bucks, so off to work I go!

Gary is spending the day at a local even called Bargains Galore on 64. It is a 140 mile long yard sale set up along side Interstate 64. Can you imagine??? It's been going on for 10 years and I guess it's quite the sight to see. Not my thing, but he'll have a good time looking for bargains to bring back home and list on e-bay. He makes really good money doing that, and gives him something to do on Saturdays while I'm at work.

Okay....off to get presentable for the day. Hope you all have a great weekend. Mine starts tomorrow.

I talked to Gary about your book situation. He said unless they are expensive books, like your texts, then it's easier to refund the money and be done with it. It's what he does with the ones he sells for a penny. Less hassle, no negative feedback.

He said if you need help doing a refund, to give you his e-mail address and he'll help you with it.

thx susan--i know how to do the refund on amazon-darn it- the request came like 20 minutes after i had requested disbursement of funds-that ticked me--and it's been over  a week since she asked-still waiting for the book to show back up!!!

now i need to get the ebay instructions out-some serious stuff to list there....time is getting away from me....65 days!!!!
