What we are eating, and whats eating us,Sunday!
Good Morning Linda and Friends,
Geeze, Jeannie "Cinnamon Toast" with Splenda. Don't know if I even need to go there. One of my favorite things in the world, made in the oven. My mom never used a toaster tho she had one; she made "oven toast" and it's my favorite kind, especially cinnamon!
Back to reality and my food: Yesterday I had a pretty good day. Lots of exercise. Went to the gym then came home and helped Mike prepare a hole and then plant a tall, columnar quaking Aspen tree in our side yard. Hopefully in a few years it will be tall enough to shade our "sunny" part of the deck. Tho it's covered, the afternoon summer sun slips in right at dinner time when I'd like to eat on the deck!
Food: shake, supplements with Bariatric Advantage calcium crystals added. First calcium supplement that I haven't been able to taste or feel the chalkyness of!
Lunch: cottage cheese/tomatos, 1/2 BLOT ( bacon, lettuce, onion, tomato) san.
Snack: yogurt
Dinner: cottage cheese, large spool of hamburger helper, cucumber slices
Snack: 2 high fiber cookies
Tea and water and milk
It's not quite 8am. The gym opens at 8. I'll start my day there and then see where it leads. Have a good one everyone.

Linda, I thought I'd add this here because it is about food and I thought you'd get a kick out of it.
Yesterday, I went to the farmer’s market and bought a huge watermelon, Arkansas grown, and some fresh home grown tomatoes and two eggplants. I also bought a couple of containers of peaches and apples. I love the farmer’s market. One of the farmers makes goat cheese and we always try to get there before she sells out, but people line up for her cheese. Yesterday, I not only got a huge piece of goat cheese but I also got a dozen of free range eggs. And when she says free range that is exactly what they are. Her chickens run wild in her yard and she doesn’t use chemicals on her yard and the eggs are huge with big yellow yolks. I tell you, you cannot eat one of those eggs, they are so rich. So, I made hubby a fresh egg omelet with fresh vegetables and topped it with a sliver of cheese and after he ate that beautiful omelet, he got a little frisky. I tell you, that farm fresh stuff is as good as Viagra. Okay, not that we had morning sex, because we didn’t. But, the offer was on the table.
