HI everyone!

I am not sure what I am eating today.  Had coffee this morning and will probably do a shake this morning.

It is not easy to choose from so little yet.  I get to start tuna tomorrow.  YEA!   I am just not sure on how many ounces I am allowed at this point.  I am eating 2oz. So far.   I know it is hard to get all your protein in.  I supplement shakes for now.

Good morning to everyone and have a great day

Oh, you'll love tuna!  Two tablespoons is all I was allowed at 4-6 wks. Keep those measuring spoons handy!

2 Tbps is about all the protein I can handle at one meal.   That was by trial and error.

Good Monday morning to you, our sweet Linda. I hope that this first day  of the week is good for you.

Bill came home yesterday afternoon. Misty was sick all day yesterday and when we got home from bringing Bill home I went up a couple of stairs to come into the building and fell flat on my back. I let Bill talk me into to going to the E.R. and she saw no new fractures and so I am suppose to take pain pills and muscle relaxers and see my doctor in a few days. I see her Wednesday anyway so what the heck. I took a pain pill last night before bed and the usual muscle relaxer...I take 2 or 3 of them a day because of the bad back. I was told by doctors to not fall since I could break my back it is so bad and fragile. Thank God that it is just sore and extremely painful...I can hardly move. The doctor wanted to send Bill home with oxygen but his saturation level is 95% and so that is good and they couldn't approve it. He did come home with several inhalers and he is feeling somewhat better. It is going to take time. I take him to see the doctor later this week. Not sure about work though. I am not going to worry about it since I have no control over it anyway...so why waste the energy? Right?

Food yesterday was iffy. Not bad but not good either.

B: sf oatmeal with a peach in it....yum again!
L: about 1/4 c of chili...not so good tasting to me this time
D: frozen pizza....2 small pieces
S: nothing

See...I told ya it was just alright. Nothing earth shattering but just something to sustain me...which I guess is what food is suppose to do and we strive to get to that point I guess.....more like "normal" (and I use that word loosely too) people. I keep smelling Chinese food this morning...not sure why. Strange nose I guess!

I am going to eat breakfast now...I am hungry. Then most of the day is going to spent in bed reading a good book. I am taking care of me today...along with Bill and Misty too that is. I am sending love and hugs to you, my dear friend. I am saying prayers for you and yours and always remember that. I hope that you smile today....and mainly at yourself...you need it and deserve it! You are a great person who is loved by many! Don't ever forget that.

BTW...I like potched cabbage. That is an old Welsh recipe that came from  at least my Great Grandmother right from Wales. You boil it until tender and put it in a frying pan with butter and cut it up with 2 kitchen knives while it coats in the butter. YUMMO for darn sure! Of course you must use the 2 kitchen knives since that is how my Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Mom did it. That is how I do it too....but not often. Now I want some of it!!!!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
