Wishing you a great Monday too!  This is a busy week for me... My family has two birthdays in the next week.  My daughter Heather's is on Thursday and my hubby Steve's is next Monday.  Thursday I am taking Heather out for lunch - just us girls.  She is going out for dinner with her husband John and then we are going over to her house for a special birthday cake from a low carb bakery on Long IslandFor Steve's birthday I will be making him chicken cutlet parmesan with low carb spaghetti.

Today I am doing some grocery shopping and also have to get my glasses fixed.  One of the stupid nose pads fell off.  What a pain!

I hope that everyone has a great day and an even better week!

Crawled out of bed late - it's hot in here (our AC is not working)

Water
Believe Italian Cappuccino protein drink

Haven't had breakfast yet - first take thyroid and meds, then breakfast.  It is so hot right now that I can't stomach food.   In the next few hours we should have an AC repairperson here

Linda,

Today I'm on my way back to TN.  Now that I'm leaving Seattle, the weather here has turned gorgeous - sunny, mild, dry.

Yesterday's eating:

B: 6 ricotta-stuffed strawberries
S: none
L: (at a buffet restaurant) to the best of my recollection: 2 raw oysters, 1 bite salmon, 2 slices bacon, 1 pot sticker, 1 slice kielbasa, 1 each marshmallow & strawberry dipped in the chocolate fountain, 1 small brownie, 1 small chocolate coconut layered thingie.  It seemed like an enormous amount of food but I know I would have eaten 3 times as much in the bad old days.
S: raw veggies & multi-grain tortilla chips
D: Leftovers (2 shrimp, 3 pieces of turkey pepperoni, 6 cubes marinated feta cheese, 1 tablespoon hummus, 4 chunks of cantaloupe)
S: pineapple cake

Miss Betsy, sometimes we lose inches not pounds,do not abandon hope, remember muscle weighs more than fat.
Just keep doing what you are doing.

Good afternoon, my dear!

Here I am, just stopping in to say hi!  After Gary left for work I started straightening up the kitchen. Well, that started a MAJOR cleaning binge!!!  Who knew the inside of the dishwasher could get so dirty? How can it? It's made to CLEAN for heaven's sake!!!   Then, I went to make a protein drink and noticed how the cabinet needed cleaning, which meant rearranging, which made me realize the spice cabinet needed cleaning/sorting. Oh God....it's a good thing Gary's not here. This kind of mood usually sends him a-hiding...LOL

so far today:

3 FF SF lattes (one right now, out of my freshly cleaned espresso machine)
bkfst burrito

cottage, cantaloupe, Orowheat Sandwich Thin, toasted with a little PB.

That's it for now. Gonna go enjoy my break!

EDIT TO ADD:
Protein drink

20 cherries

Dinner:  1 boneless bbq pork rib, 1/4 c coleslaw and Kashi Fiesta rice.

Might need to get in a fiber bar later.
