It is now one month since I had RNY (July 16).

Yes, I am weighing every day which probably I should stop doing.   The scale sat there not moving for a few days.  This morning it is down 2 pounds.

So I have lost now 38 pounds!  That is a good start, and at least my BMI is now below 50.  It started at 53 and is now 47.

Now I will  have to start getting caught up with work...   I'm feeling better and I am somewhat overwhelmed by the stack on my desk.

congratulations, Jeane!!  38 lbs in a month is terrific. Yes, staying off the scale would be best, but I'm not one to talk....LOL.  Just think of it this way: if you only weigh once a week, then you'll have a BIG number to talk about!

Keep up the great work

Susan

Thanks - I surely hope there will be a big number to talk about, one of these days.

Right now, it is too hot in here to eat.   I drank two "Believe" Cappucino protein drinks, and still feel a bit nauseus.  I know it is from the heat.

Our AC guy/gal is supposed to come out here before 2 pm.   It is NOT fun to be in South Florida in August wtihout AC

See it will move in the right direction given a bit of patience!

Congratulations on a wonderful weight loss. Yes, we all tell each other to stay off the scale, but where am I every morning??? Mostly I am in awe that the numbers keep going down -- not always as fast as I'd like, but they are going down.
I know you are pleased with your BMI decrease, too. Keep up the good work!

Jeane, Just look at you go, girly.  You have already accomplished one goal, and that's to lower the BMI.  You're on your way to a healthier lifestyle now.  Good for you!

great going girl, 38 lbs. is wonderful for a month out. As everyone says stay of the scales. uh, right.
I get on the scale only in the mornings, then it's not to bad.forget the night time, then I get depressed, and I haven.t have surgery yet.
