3 months & WOWs!

Friday was my 3-month post-op checkup with my PCP.  I am pleased and absolutely delighted to announce that my diabetes is gone, my hypertension is gone, and my bloodwork numbers are (doctor's word) superb!
I am officially off all prescription medications!
My co-workers have dubbed me "Droopy Drawers"
I donated 3 huge bags of "fat" clothes.
I shopped the thrift & consignment stores for smaller clothes -- successfully -- and was pleased  to find that many things I thought would fit were too big!
I can sit comfortably with my legs crossed.
My motorcycle boots zip all the way up.
I bought new exercise capris from the sporting goods shop -- not the "fat lady store!"
DH is becoming more attentive and often compliments me on my appearance.

I still have a long way to go, but life is good -- and getting better. WOW!!!

 What an inspiration !!!   That's fabulous.   Someday I will be able to shop at the "not fat lady" store too I hope.

You're fabulous!  I'm not sure what my pcp will have to say.  I see him on the 25th.  I've stopped taking my bp meds because my pressure was way too low.  Without meds it's still running on the lower side of normal, which is really a wow.  I think my diabetes is pretty much gone too.  I'm looking forward to seeing what my cholesterol will show.
Can't wait for the next six months to see what I will become!
Nice to have DH become more attentive and complementary isn't it?

WooHoo!!!   Congratulations! Getting off the RX meds is WOW enough...the rest is all extra!!

great going, It's good not tha have the biabetes and hypertension ,gone forever. can't wait for that to happen to me.

As far as the spouse being more attentive.  I agree.  Me more so when she had WLS, then her more so when I had it.  So now we are both more attentive.  You would think we were newlyweds.

George, my congratulations to you and Mary on your new and improved marriage! Who said it can't get better the second time around? They sure didn't talk to us did they?

It sure sounds like you have had a lot of WOW moments..with many more to come, might I add.
