Hi Carla and OFF pals.   I cannot believe I am actually on this computer at 12:40 AM.  Just can't sleep for some reason and that hardly ever happens to me.  So glad you are having such a good time in Colorado, Miss Carla.  It has been chilly and windy here and just not the weather we should be having the middle of August.  My plans for tomorrow (or I should say TODAY) are to drive out to one of our beautiful parks and walk the trails surrounding the lake and then go have my nails done.  They need a fill badly.  I hope everyone is doing fine and are happy.

Good morning Carla and all you OFFers!

What a wonderful day it is!  Now.

Took a little time off so I could go to the Rangers game.  We win!  We win!   This team is tough.  We may be in second place now, but it is a tough bunch of guys.

We had $27 seats at the Rangers game.  On the second level, the tickets had been given to me.  I looked up at the section where my season tickets are and saw a friend up there.  So Mary and I moved up to the $3 area to sit with a bunch of good guys.  The guy who sits in front of us has season tickets.  He brings a different gal in every game it seems.  So last night he brings this nice looking gal, but she looked a little too old for him (thinking cougar).  Until he introduced her.  He brought his mother with him.  We all had a good time chatting away.  Discussing the season.  Everyone decided they were going to renew their tickets for next season and stay in the same area.  But first we have to get this year done.  And the playoffs.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

George your Ranger Fan buddies sound like George's and my Z's Fan buddies.  We've had the same seats for the past 12 years - since the stadium opened!  Unfortunately the Z's are not doing well this year.  I do believe we are in last place.

Morning one and all,

Margo, can we get more details about the "sleeper" comment the doctor made about Michael's test? I guess none of us quite understand what it means. I know the next couple of weeks are going to be rough. Waiting always is, especially when it about something serious. Know we're all here for you!

I've been up since 4:30, and have a very long, crazy busy day today. I'll be there until at least 7:30, so I'll probably just fall into bed when I get home.

Not much going on here, so I'm signing off and getting geared up for the day. Hope you all have a wonderful one!

Susan

susan--my guess- since the doc didn't talk to me afterward-is that it showed up thru this exam where it didn't show up during the finger up the you know exam...so it's a sleeper cuz it was not detected a few weeks ago????

that's about all i can figure....

so i guess the blood clots were a sign for us that he has this aneurism in his belly and the prostate is enlarged which so far sounds like meds will reduce???

Good Tuesday morning, ya'll.

Older grandson's college schedule is very weird this semester. Monday and Wednesday: He is here for a quick 'honey bun' before the first class.  Back for breakfast after the first class.  He has 4 hours between 1st and 2nd class so he is also here for lunch.  Then back for an after school snack 2 hours later.  Tuesday and Thursday he will just be here for breakfast, and then his after school snack.  Fridays only 1 class.  He is looking for a job that will 'work' around this schedule.  His summer job was not flexible for school hours.  The younger one doesn't start school til next week, but his Mom (also in the school system) went back yesterday.  So he was also here all day eating!  He also spent the night and will be up for breakfast soon.  I love living so close to the boys!!

We have a concrete guy coming this morning.  Earlier in the summer we had an extra slab put beside our driveway for all the traffic we get around here.  Well, it just wasn't enough.  I still have kids having to park partly on the lawn, etc.  So we are putting in MORE concrete.  I'm for just covering the entire lawn and no one will ever have to mow again.  My DH and DIL are against that!

Everyone have a fantabulous day!

I saw my PCP for a recheck. He put me on Albuterol inhaler 4 times a day, more bed rest, more fluids.

When I got home from group it was late. (8:45 is past my bedtime) Tom had cooked and left food for me. Nice gesture but it looked and smelled sickening. I put it away and fixed a bowl of cottage cheese and Ka****hat was yucky after a couple of bites and nothing sounded good except sleep. Slept until 7 AM which is way later than normal.

Ahhh it is finally warm!!!!!! That feels like heaven to me.

Today I am doing meetings all day and tonight, I am grading college entrance essays.  While it is tedious work, it pays very well.  So, I will be grading until nine or ten.

Kitty's going back to the vet tomorrow for the actual blood work.  Yesterday he looked at her and did a stool specimen, which she hated, and he told me she was malnourshed.  I knew that and have been feeding her extra fattening food.  He gave me some extra extra fattening food and told me to supplement that with tuna.  So, she is on a eating up all she can diet.  If she gains a couple of ounces, then tomorrow he will do her blood work.  We'll see.   Oh, this morning, I fried up bacon for hubby and with the grease, made a little gravy and gave him a bowl and her a bowl and she spread her self over that little bowl and made the worst growls while half sucking and half eating that milk gravy.  In the meant time, my Ginger is going nuts wanting to meet her new sister.  I keep telling her in time.  She sits at the guest bedroom door and meows ad sniffs and cries something terrible.  They both try to look under the door at each other.  It is so cute.  Hopefully, we can end the quarentine soon.

So, meetings, grading, and lunches for me.  You guys have a great day.
