Karen my love....how wonderful to see your sweet face again....and read your message....like always you know just the right thing to say. The down times are I guess when we need each other the most in this surgery.
I was so sure I was "handling" it.. God just kind of jerks a knot in your tail sometimes to get your attention, doesn't he. He has mine now.

It was nice hearing from you. I think it is just awesome that you have come back to us!!
Nic is still doing about the same. He is in Memphis at St. Jude's Hospital having some treatments done. We hope these treatments stop the cancer from growing any longer. This is his third round of four treatments. They are very, very painful however as soon as the treatments start they put him to sleep. They last a few hours and then he wakes up and feels fine.
It has been a long scary summer. We wouldn't be making it without all the people like you that offer so many prayers and so much support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Karen, I have been where you are now. As with both of you I medicated with alcohol too. When my kids were small. I did wait until they got the bus.

we do need to post a lot more, It is a matter of putting ourselves first and giving us what we NEED.....we need to feed on each other's love and support. We are the only ones that truly understand our NEEDS.

oh welcome Marti, i have missed you so very much. i dont post every day like i should but i am so busy that it is hard to get here all the time...i hope that we can all be of some help to you . im glad that you told your hubby to be your pharmist. you need someone to keep you taking all those pills all the time lol... love you and so glad you came back to us. ....

JAN...YOU LOOK AMAZING.....you little Motorcycle Mama....I know we had our surgeries around the same time and went through our knee surgeries together.....but you look AMAZING......I am so happy for you.....I bet you have been down on y our hands and "knees" tending your gorgeous flowers all summer. I have one of your pictures as a screen saver sometimes.
