Learning the same lesson about Main board
I have to say Jeane, I never much liked the main board. Too big and you really don't get to know people. Here on OFF we seem to be kinder and don't sweat the small stuff as much. On occasion, but not often at all. I've been coming here since I joined in January and it's comforting. I also visit the Michigan board because I seem to have a pretty good raport with those 'young' gals too. I could spend the majority of my day on OH without a problem. So much information, and it's from the experience that we learn. You read about stalls all the time, but when it happens to you it seems to be devistating. At least for me it is. I resisted weighing myself this morning, but it won't last all day, I'll just have to see. Yesterday I got in all my calories, proteins and water. Maybe today will show a loss. Welp, I couldn't wait, the scale just showed I'm down two of the 3 pounds I gained. It's got to be the water.. I'm happy today now.
Take care, stay here and we'll enjoy our journey!

Stay away from them baby, they are lost, abrupt and ill mannered. I tried a few times to help, and had my balls handed back to me. Of course losing over 300 pounds,I know nothing.
We are so lucky to have ours specaility forums. Even when I came here,a rude person asked my did I not stick to MY board,I guess that means African American. It is not about the color,it is about our life experiences.and what I saw there is that everyone pigged out on the weekend and then started anew every Monday...yuck.
Finally I said,I am fat,Black, and an ex Catholic and I have my religion and I love everyone who worships a benelovent force.
Jeanne says she is a athiest, what do I care?? She is a loving intelligent woman with much to offer. Who would I would talk to and adore a woman from Arkansas?? We must not limit ourselves for we short change ourselves as well as others when we do that.
Stay where you feel safe, and age ain't nothing but a number.
Hang with us,we talk about everything, ain't no shame to our game!!

It's pretty sad that people look for fights to pick. God knows there are enough without looking for it.
When you say "Age aint' nothing but a number" I keep thinking about Saffire Uppity Women's Blues Band out of Chicago. I loved their album (now that dates me).
What we have in common is a weight problem - whether male, female, gay, straight, black, white or purple. You'd think by now when we have a black President that the bigots would shut up. But they won't.
