Has anyone other than myself noticed a calming affect and  also a luster from eating avacodas??

I can't say calmer, but I do love them and savor every bite! The luster could be from the beneficial fats found in avocados.

I'm eating the best nectarines right now.  They are so fragrant that I smell them everytime I walk by the bowl they're  in  -  makes me stop to eat another.

Yes Linda, I notice something about avocados too.  Could it be the creaminess, the smoothness, the subtle flavor?  We've eaten more of them this year than in the past.  George eats them nekkid - absolutely plain.  I like them that way, but the best is with a slight sprinkling of lite Italian dressing.  Sometimes I add a handful of those tiny frozen salad shrimp (thawed of course) for protein.  My daughter loves them sliced thin on a sandwich or in a wrap.  Day-um, they were over-ripe at the store or I'd have bought some!  Maybe they'll look better this week.
