Uppity Womens Blues Band (Now just uppity Blues Band)

 Since Linda reminded us that "age ain't nothing but a number" I was reminded of the group I discovered when I was living in Chicago - the "Uppity Womens Blues Band."

And for Jeannie, they even have a song entitled, "Schoolteacher's Blues" .  For those of us (ladies) on OFF, here are some of the lyrics of "Middle Aged Blues".

I've seen them perform and just loved it.  And I used to "want a young, young man to chase away my middle-aged blues."

I just missed them at a Blues Fest. We didn't get there in time for their performance! Thanks for the link!
