i'm moving slow or slowly moving today so not much time to post.

went to wally's -the same gal waited on me and didn't remember me--wth? we spent about 15 minutes together the day before- well- she figures that when "we" were trying to get clipons on that is when the scratch occurred--didn't admit that SHE was the only one who handled the glasses and clip ons--(gosh...maybe SHE caused the scratch????) soooo-they are ordering me a new lense..and she pointed out they wouldn't pay for it later - i knew that part!!

hoping today at work goes quickly- i have things to do after work- just the packing cleaning purging stuff but things to do no less!

michael picked 2 qts of blackberries yesterday, so i baked him a pie last nite- he loves his pie!!!made it with splenda so i could have a piece-yummo! 

nothing else really - sending hugs and prayers and asking for same - this house has to sell- 60 days til target!!!!!!!!!!

hi Margo seems lots of people have issues with houses ...yours and several others to sell , we have one to rent and it has been setting empty now for almost 3 months. cant seem to find anyone. have had several interested but for one reason or the other we had to eliminate them...either no jobs and no visible means of income. one guy appeared to be (on) something couldnt remember anything at all and couldnt tell me how many were in his family :??? another was a family of 9 ? for a 2 bedroom house? i dont think so ...that poor septic would be overflowing in just a little while ....so seems like renting is just as hard as selling right now.
altho we may put this up for sale as a vacation home since we are here on the lake.
glad you got your glasses taken care of.
i am praying that your house sells soon. the law of averagers have to work out soon , you can only show it so many times till you have an offer unless you are way overpriced.   need to have one of our real estate ladies give you some hints?  sounds like you are doing good on deleting
items and packing up stuff.  you will be surprised at all that you dont need that you have been keeping ....
i am still freezing veggies out of the garden. now i have okra and eggplants  producing well along with still the green peppers and banana peppers and tomatoes and yellow squash  oh and my spag squash are all getting blooms on them and i have small butternut squash growing too. those are both good ones that all you do is store for quite a long time. i have had butternuts that i bought at the grocery store and kept for a good 3 or 4 months. so that is good. i love butternut squash soup made with coconut milk ,  curry and shrimp it is about as delecious as . you can get
it started raining last night about 2am lots of thunder and lightening and pouring rain. ir is now almost 7am and i went out and checked the rain guage and we have 1 1/2 inches in there in 5 hours....pretty good and we had a half inch yesterday and the day before too. so we are back up to a little over normal for this months rainfall. we have had a lot more rain than is normal for this year all to gether...if it would just have been more spread out would have been better lol guess we are never happy about anything .
Me and my husband are both fighting the crud...it isnt the flu just sinus ,allergies or something , cant get anything to really dry it up , using sudafed and nasal sprays and tylenol i have had it for over 2 weeks and hubby has had it about a week...just doesnt want to go away...

Rainy day In Mi.
Had surgery On wrist Monday  Ouch!    I knew they were putting in pins and  a plate but didn't equate that              with the bone deep pain!  thank goodness for vicidon!  and for  me being a fast healer.  Yesterday I needed  the full strength every 4 hrs   today  Ill manage nicely with half a pill a couple of times! 
Margo   hope you sell  quickly.

My PCP contacted the gastro doctor and requested a barium enema - egads that's a nasty thought. I declined.

The PCP called and asked if I would see a different gastro doctor for a second opinion and consult. UGH. Okay, I agreed as long as they don't make me drink anything or put any foreign objects in my body. Talk but don't touch. My tummy is feeling a bit better, maybe I needed an antibiotic?

Slept late again ... nice for a change.

Good morning ya'll.

This morning the carpet cleaners will be at our DIL's at 9 and I will be there to let them in and sit while they shampoo.

Then off to try to find some yarn for a baby layette for an old school friend of our daughter's. We have a limited number of places to find things like that here.  She wants something different than I usually use.  I may have to drive to Wilmington.  Even online, I can't find the exact color I/she wants.  I found something at Han**** Fabrics yesterday, but not enough.  They would have to order it on Saturday.  Remember 'O Brother, Where Art Thou'?  Everything the guy wanted, had to be ordered and would take 2 weeks to get.  Sometimes I miss the 'big city'.

My DH was supposed to see his surgeon todmorrow and hopefully get his second fill.  They called to reschedule him for Sept. 1st.  He is back up to his day of surgery weight.  Band was placed on March 5th.  He has had only one fill.  His doc kept telling him he was 'right on track' 1/4 to 1/2 pound a week.  He was doing that with Atkins and will power.  Well, that has run out!!!  I pray the doc can be convinced to give him a fill next month.  WHY do people get the band if they are NOT gonna work it right, and the doc is not gonna give them the help to work it?

Why am I getting so frustrated when it isn't even me?

Sheesh, makes no sense to me that he has only had one fill, would probably frustrate me too, knowing that these are tools to help us achieve something that until we chose WLS, we could not do on our own. . .
