Wow, a lot of long winded people today.
I'll keep it short.  This morning a protein shake and then on to crystal light.  No rain here yet.  Looks like it will sometime today tho.  This morning I was walking my dogs and halfway thru the walk my hubby pulled up in the company truck.  I jumped in and he drove us home.  Now, that's what I call exercise!  I was trying to get the walk in before the rain.  After we came home and he changed clothes (he had gotten oil on them at work) I fed him some cucumbers and sour cream and sent him back to work.  Then I took off for Walmart to get some more whey protein.  Now that I'm back home I don't feel like going out for a walk again, plus it's too humid.  I can always find an excuse.  I believe that's why I'm stalled at this weight for the past 4 days now.
Well, back to packing some more boxes.  We don't have a lot to pack anymore, but certainly too much!

Good morning to you, Margo and my OFF family. I am so glad to be able to join you all for our daily chat. I so look forward to it..more than some may know but I think that most of us feel that way.

Kayden is here again and swinging away and watching the View with Grandma. He has been good all morning..he got here about 7:15. He just couldn't get into Sesame Street this morning. Yesterday he was just enchanted with the puppets. Now he is into the View and I am happy since I am too. I got him 1/2 days tomorrow and Saturday and then we are getting him all day Sunday. We have church, the church picnic and then a cook out for my cousin who is up from Kentucky. I can't wait to see him...I haven't seen him for a long time. He has Parkinson's and I heard that it is giving him some trouble. But he has a little scooter at home and the town they live in is small. He rides the scooter to the bank and goes through the drive thru and then he takes it to the store and does some shopping taking the groceries home in the little basket that he has on it. I can just see him scooting around town. I would like to do something like that too...sounds like fun. And relaxing too..I couldn't do that here that is for sure.

I went to the pcp yesterday and she was most concerned with the falling I have been doing or have been trying to do. She is running a carotid doppler and see if there is something there and then she might get a MRI later on if that doppler is alright. I had one about a year ago and it was fine. I don't think that is the problem. She put me on a antidepressant and I started that yesterday. So far after 2 there is nothing but that is what I expected. It takes a few weeks but I go see her in 2 weeks so she can see how I am doing. I have to get the doppler by then.

We had some mighty big storms last night. In about 10 minutes we got 1 and a half inches of rain. My bff has a rain Gage on her deck and that is what it showed. We had a tornado warning but didn't get anything here. Chesterton (where my family lives and where we are moving back to) got a lot of damage. I guess there was a tornado but as of last night they were just calling it a wind storm. I guess the wind got up to 105 mph and wow...the whole town was without everything bu****er and damage to houses, business' and trees and all galore. I guess just down the street from my sister's a tree fell and a car was turned over. Carolyn finally got her electric at 1 a.m. and still is waiting for cable. My niece was working and stood inside the building and saw a tornado go down the street. She said that it was HUGH and she saw all the dirt and junk in there just twisting around. Bill said that would be nice to see and agreed with him but then said that I know that I would be scooting to find shelter...a weather watcher like that I am not. I am glad that it is over but we are getting some more big ones today. I hope that they aren't as bad as last nights.

I better go..Kayden is calling and I must answer since Grandpa is just sitting and doing nothing...story of my life.

I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up for everyone too. Have a great day and do something to make yourself happy.

Greetings, I have not been able to post in WEEKS. Last week was in-service week we had classes all day every day. It is good to see how everyone is doing. Margo it just blows me away that your house hasn't sold, I adore your house. I would think some Toledo commuter, who wants to be away from the city would have snatched it up. Do you have to "disclose" the crazy neighbor?  My Step Mom will be here next Friday for a few days, I can hardly wait, we always have so much fun. But driving here for a 3 day visit from Ohio just doesnt seem worth it. I have so much vacation built up if I could find a cheap way home I would be tempted to go back to Ohio with her for a week. I have a very small garden this year, just 5 tomato plants 3 green peppers, a banana pepper, that is LOADED. What the heck does a person DO with bananna peppers anyway?? I love mild pepper rings so I filled one jar with them. I also have a jalapeno plant and a cayenne pepper, which is also loaded, I have a dehydrator filled with them right now..I will have red pepper flakes out the cazoo. I have been drying lots of herbs this year, right now I am crushing differant combinations for meat rubs. My favorite is the lemon chicken one. It has lots of lemon thyme, and lemon zest in it very yummy. made a pan full of stuffed peppers and home made tomato soup. I ust love this time of year, so sad it only lasts a few weeks. I think I will go check the cost of a bus from Toledo to here for the heck of it..Blessings
