Gym clothes- ready for the gym!

 Well I got my "trapeze" (i.e. wide girth) tshirt and capris pants today, so I am ready to go to my gym!
I bought size 3x and 4x in pants, and the 3x is big!   So I am sending the too big stuff back.
I think this 3x is the size of a house.  But then, that's what I am now, so hopefully that will change.

I am going to go tomorrow and start on the bicycle.

Sounds like You'll be stylin' for sure! Marti O give us this advice offered to her by a co worker: "Just show up!" It's so true. Just getting out of the house and through the door is half the battle.

Then just give yourself short goals while you are there. Before you know it you'll have done a lot. I take music with me, and I really have to "entertain" myself on the treadmill. I started with the 20 minute fitness test program on the easiest level. Then each week I made it a bit harder. I now do 5 miles when I go. About 1-2 on the treadmill and at least 3 on the eliptical, sometimes also the recumbent bike. I work up a good sweat and feel like if I do nothing else I've done something for myself that day.

You go girl! Think "Rocky" music as you leave the gym after completing your workout and give yourself a pat on the back from me!

 I showed up today - early afternoon when nobody is there.   

I bicycled 30 min on the recumbant bicycle.   I forgot to take music or a towel.  Next time.

I can't do the elliptical - too soon after surgery.   But in a few weeks I can.

I liked your advice.  Just get there.  I also liked the Rocky music.  That would be good to listen to on the treadmill.
It is what it is.
