I still HAVE my Chatty Cathy doll - and my Kissy doll.  Remember her?  You pull her arms together and she would pucker up and make a kissing noise? 

For some reason, those are the two dolls that  "survived" my childhood.  They have their original dresses, but I've lost the shoes. 

I had a fake "Chatty Cathy" ... we couldn't afford a real one. But my favorite doll was a giant walking doll. My dog Lady was terrified of it, so my dad used to put it on the couch when we'd leave so Lady would stay off the couch ... Lady was a ****er/beagle/daschaund mix (and maybe a few others in there ... she really was a Heinz 57, but such a sweetie). Lady would growl at that doll.

I also use the bigger font because I can't see either. I have the same issues at work with the new system ... I have to edit in InCopy because I can't see the tiny type in InDesign (which is the design program, so I can't edit in it. I can blow up the type, however, in InCopy.

Hey Eileen, I got a big walking doll too. Her name is Donna Doll and the ironic thing is my cousin Donna later married a man named Dahl. Just thought that I would add that tidbit of unimportant stuff in...he ha
I still have Donna and she wears a size 3T clothes. I lost her shoes and not sure why or how but her underwear too...don't ask me! She walks but never did a good job....she must have had a problem. She is in my coat closet now with a body bag (that is what I call the giant black yard bags) over her.

Just stopping in real quick.  Uneventful last couple of days.  Just baseball and work.  And throw in a little Big Brother.  My life is so complicated. LOL.

I thought today would be a great day to clean my station at the salon because I wasn't going to be busy. Well, someone had a wreck on Wed and knocked over a power pole, cutting our electricity for 6 hours. The clients I was going to do Wed are coming today, so....no cleaning. Darn!  Such a pity.

It's supposed to be a glorious weekend here. Mid 80's, low humidity. Nice change for AR. I might just get out and do some yard work. What a concept!!

Good morning everyone.   It is a good day   Woke up pain free from broken wrist!!!   no more vicidon!   I do appreciate the pain relief they give but   hate the necessity of taking them   I am so afraid of addiction.
Still have my chatty Cathy.    we didn't play much with them  were too busy running outside.

 Still drinking my pot of morning Coffee on about my 3rd cup. Yup Love the darn stuff.
We are headed to Las Vegas to visit our friend Laura who is in the hospital still. 2 wks
now. Hopefully, she is better & will get an idea of when she might be coming home. Still has big problems, but, getting stronger every day. That is a good sign.
Will be watching football tonight, I no its only pre-season, but, still football. my 2 favorite sports are Football & NASCAR. Sorry George, not a baseball fan till the playoffs start.
Got 2 weeks of Doc appts again & hopefully will calm down after that. I agree with
you Brenda, Tired of Doc's. I guess it's a must, but, sure get tired of the waiting for
them to give answers. I no getting older sucks, but, this is ridiculous. The RNY was suppose to help me with health stuff. Can just imagine where I would be if still 360 lbs.

thankyou to all that posted on yesterdays thread to me about the antidepressant....i used to take effexor xr and man it was sooo hard to get off of it!!! i will never take that one again!!! i posted on the main board asking about what antidepressant pill worked for us and i got soo many different answers i am so confused...lol i think i will send email to my WLS office and ask them what would be best for me to take to help with my overeating and slight depression.

well we got the storm here last night!!!! OMG did we get it!!! rained so hard you could not see and the wind blowing wow!!!! and ofcourse i was at work...just before it started there was a pop and the power went out...i couldn't use my register so food court shut down...i was asked to go to the meat department to help get the meats etc into the cooler so we didn't lose anything...ok no problem...then after that was done i was told to take a break. ok i did that and then after break was over i started cleaning up the food court...throwing food out and making sure everything was turned off...after that was all done the power came back on...yippeeee....back to the meat department to get the meat back on display...omg i hurt my back and i could hardly move!!! thankfully it was almost done getting meats out. time to punch out and go home. walked very slowly into the apartment...rick said hurt your back huh...yuppers...he tried cracking it for me and got nothing...i took a hot shower and then he tried again...still nothing...went to bed and man i zonked out right away....this morning i am stiff but ok. just will refuse to move meat again is all!! right now it feels nice and cool...humidity is down so its not sticky anymore but not sure if it will be later on tho...i hate sticky!!!

the other day i was at aldi's getting a few things for us and this man came up to me and mentioned how hard it was to cook for one person...i said yes its hard but you will learn...i moved on...was looking at potatoes and here he comes again...he picked up a very large onion and said to me...now what will i do with this huge onion?? i said use it up or buy a bag of small ones...he then told me his 3 girls lived with his ex wife and his girlfriend left him...again saying how hard it was to cook for one person...i then mentioned how hard it was to cook for one person that had gastric by pass and he turned and left...lmao guess he didn't want to be near a former fatty...but atleast i got him to leave me alone....LOL

well need to get cleaned up and get to the bank cash my check and make out a check to pay another bill. i sure hope rick gets his unemployment money next week...things are so tight they squeek!!!

well i guess i was long winded today...lol sorry if i bored anyone....;-o
