TGIF-what's new revue
G-morning.. Margo, I talked with Kay last night and casually mentioned that I have so much vacation built up I was thinking of going home with her when she left, she said she would love it..But as we yacked on she mentioned how she had to go to a neices wedding the weekend after she got home and she is assising in putting on an Alon-on conference, so she may be too busy. When I approched my boss with it today she gave me the go-ahead. Sooo we shall see when Kay is here ( she arrives next Thursday night) if she insists, Im there. It is between $110 - $140 dollars to get a Greyhound home..What blows me away is it only takes 14 hours..it takes 12 to drive it !! Must not be too many stops.
Not much going on in my life..which is good. Faith got her drivers license and a car..she was a nanny all summer to buy it, now she will have to get a job to support it !! I think she is in for a rude awakening. Getting my mangy hair cut after work. Must run, there is a lot of work at work today.. Blessings

It was a joke guys, the long winded comment. But apparently it seems to fit 
in some cases.... Anyway, went for my walk again this morning and who pulls up again but hubby in the company truck. I asked him if he was checking on me to make sure I'm not lying about doing my morning exercise. He just laughed. He had to drive downtown Detroit to make sure something was being done right, and he didn't really want to go. He said it's in a bad part of town. So I told him I loved him and he'd better get going. Then I finished my walk. It was beautiful this morning with all the sunshine, but a nice breeze. I probably could have gone further, but the old girl was lagging behind so I just came home. Does that sound like another excuse? Didn't weigh myself today because I want to keep a positive attitude. One of these days it will start falling off again.
UUUGGGGGHHHHH. My sugar is up again. Don't have any idea why, but I'm going to start checking it 4x a day like I'm supposed to and see what's going on. I know I don't need the insulin that I was taking, but maybe just a little for now. I ate a piece of Pita bread lastnight without any problem with hummus and it was just marvelous. I savored every bite. Maybe the carbs in that increased my sugar. I see my pcp next Tuesday, so I'll see what he has to say. I really hope he does some blood work to see what's going on and if most everything is at the right levels.
Tonight we're going over to our pastor's house to drop off some clothing and household items. Our church has a spot in a warehouse where we store stuff for those less fortunate. I'm taking a rocking chair, some lamps, some dishes and mostly clothing. We've furnished apartments for people who have been burned out and given clothing to the homeless. Makes me feel good to know that I can help someone.
Well, gotta run and balance my checkbook and straighten up a bit.

I know itis late for me to be posting. I just got up and itis 1030am in Denver!!!!!
Last night I went over to my friends house and surpirsed her. I called her on my cell phone and left her a message. She called me back. I couldnt talk cause my phone was going awahl. So I said can you wait till I got to a land line and Ill call you right back. So the I went to her house and knocked on the door, she opened it and jumped about 10 feet!!!!!
Sot hat iwas a lotoffu!!!!!
Today My friend Donna and I are takinghe 90 yr old dad to the wound specialist at Kaiser. it is very hard to take him to the dr as he doesnt walk very well. Getting him into a car can be rather challenging
. It is a good thing his car is fixed cause we cant get him into her explorer.
Carl must miss me cause he asked me 3 times yesterday when I was comming home!!!!!

Where to start? Too much crap happening and I am in the dumps.
Woke up yesterday with a sore mouth and cheek. The dental office had me come right in, did x-rays and said I have an absessed tooth and sinus infection. Gross. They wouldn't touch me because of the infection. Wouldn't give antibiotics because I was just on some. Said I need an oral surgeon but theirs wasn't in the office. $92.00 later they referred me to another one.
I see the oral surgeon on Monday for "consult only" - $175.00 for that. It will probably be around $350.00 more to have the tooth removed. He said there is too much bone loss for a root canal. (Darlene, you were right about RNY & bone loss)
When I got home from work, Tom was already here. In his paycheck was a notice that as of September 30th the office will close their doors.
My head aches, my cheek hurts, my gum throbs so ---- I am having a great big pity party for myself.
No cake, no ice cream, just kleenex.
