WHAT'S NEW WITH YOU THIS SATURDAY??
Good Morning Janet & OFF Peeps,
Nice to see all your lovely faces so early on a Saturday morning.
The weather here is not great, bad storms woke me up during the early morning hours, but Dillinger slept right through it, which I was glad for, seeing as he usually shivers and wants to hide in the bathroom during storms of the nature we had, it was really quite a show and rumbling for a good 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, and it's not looking like this weather is going too far today.
I just finished my first third of water intake and next I'm moving on to some coffee, after which I will shower and get myself on the road, going to visit an old friend today up in New York, my first trip there since I can't even remember when, I'm thinking the time I went up on an interview in April, wow, strange, how I don't miss the hustle/bustle of that City anymore, anyway I'm going to see my g/f who I have not seen since she got married, over 7 years ago, she moved east and I moved south, she had a baby and I live the singleton life, so I'm going to meet her now 6 year old son and see her Mom and sister, it should be a nice day reconnecting with everyone and I'll just hope that the sun comes out at some point.
You all have a great day wherever and whatever you're doing!
Hugs, Laureen

Good morning. I'm in a much better frame of mind today. It is amazing what support from friends and a good night's sleep can do for a person.
Eileen - you really did me a world of good. Thank you.
Today is the annual Robbins redneck picnic. They are a tall, rowdy bunch but full of fun. Boy can they eat!! (and drink
) No work for me, I just sit and watch.
Kisses

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Saturday morning to you, Janet and my other OFF sibs. I have my favorite day of the week and it just seems different to me somehow. Not sure how or why but it just is. I guess sometimes that is all you know.
I had Bill to the e.r. last night with a terrible migraine headache. They gave him 2 pain shots and a shot for nausea and then we were on our way. Well..not that fast...the first pain shot didn't work and then the 2nd one did so it took some time. I am not sure what started the headache but I hope that it goes. I hate it when he has one of those. He use to have a lot of them but is on a med to keep them away and it works good but not this time. I think a lot of it is from the stress of all this stuff.
The weather here is nice..in the 70's and the 50's at night. Now that is a bit to chilly for me...I do alright with the 70's but not to good with temperatures below that. I huddled under my blanket and was nice and warm. And I was so tired that it didn't matter to me. I went to sleep as soon as my head hit that pillow.
I thought that I was suppose to have Kayden and so far nothing. Since Shawn started his half day at work at 8:00 I guess he isn't coming. I am going to nip that one in the bud...they have to let me know what is going on and when I am getting him. They both know their schedule and I want to know when he is going to be here and when he isn't. I was so tired I felt like I could have slept longer...now the urge to do that is gone..but maybe a nap later on. I know that DIL's parents came to town so they might have him which I don't care but let me know...not much to ask I don't think.
I plan on doing some cleaning today. We made a decision to just pack some stuff as we come to it and put it in the storage and then that way it is done. It seem so much easier to do that than to try to find somewhere to put it and then pack it later on. We made the decision to move a few weeks ago...before she informed me that we are now nonrenewable. I know that it is HER idea. I think I might send a letter to the Indy company that owns this complex and let them know how she makes up her own rules. They vary according to who you are. I guess the old saying is true..It's not who you know..It's who you blow. Just my opinion on that one. So I think packing is in my plans for the day.
I best get moving. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone. Yes, Margo, a super duper one for you too. Have a great day and don't forget to smile at someone today..even if it yourself..you are worth it!
Edit: DS brought Kayden at 8:30 and he had to be to work at 9:00 then I remembered that he told me that before..I guess my bad.
But! I held and loved on Kayden and then put him in the swing and he didn't like it but I sat and talked to him and turned on Mickey Mouse clubhouse and he is watching that. He didn't scream or throw a fit and when he would start to cry I would talk to him and tell him that Grandma loves him and he is alright. Now he is taking a short (I bet it is very short knowing him) snooze. He might be getting use to this...or am I crossing the bridge before I get there? I feel like there is hope that he will get out of wanting to be held constantly.....HOORAY!!

Good morning all. Figured I would do something different and stop by today. The weekend shows nothing special in my plans. Went to the gym last night and will go again tonight. I had not been in 3 months or so. Gotta do something.
I am doing good weight wise and food wise. No complaints whatsoever. Life is wonderful.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning everyone......such interesting posts this morning.
Brenda, I'm glad you are breaking Kayden of being held all the time.
Annette -- so happy to hear you are finally feeling better.
Debbie G. - glad to see you back - altho' I do see you on FB everyday.
That tickled me about the talk of ironing -- I never iron anymore, unless I am sewing something. I did iron the pillow cases, hankies and other "flat" stuff when I was a kid. When I was 12 I babysat my five cousins and did all their family ironing -- OMG it was tons and tons. I agree it's the getting the ironing board and iron out and then having to put it away again that I hate.
Did get half of my house cleaned yesterday afternoon, and finished it up this morning......yes, even got the dusting done.....hurrah!
I started a new book last evening - Friday nite TV is the pits and there weren't any good movies on either.....well I read for a while when I went to bed, took just one of the pain pills, and slept until almost 8 a.m. this morning ---- that was nearly 10 hrs.....guess I really needed it. I've done a load of undies and had my W/C oatmeal for breakfast and the rest of the day is just for me time.
Got five Red Haven peaches at the farm market the other day and they are wonderful.....however, they make "The Kemminator" hurt a bit when I eat them....wonder why? No sugar on them, just a spoonful or two of splenda.
It was 58 deg. here this morning and only to get into high 60's.....I love it - having the house open and fresh breezes....sorry, I'm not a hot weather person.
Have a simply marvelous day,
Pat R.
