Trouble getting 3 meals a day

I was told that right after surgery your pouch is only about as big as a medicine cup, 2-3 oz, so you shouldn't expect to be able to eat much at one sitting. An egg and cheese sounds like about the right amount. My doctor said after about a year your pouch will hold about a cup of food.  I think that's generally the accepted rule.
