I mentioned it in the What's Happening thread, but I wanted to get some opinions.

I hope to get to Branson in November.  I know I will have to take Mary to see the Osmonds.

Does anyone else have any recommendations for shows they saw in Branson?  I have seen a few that caught my eye, but just wanted to hear of others' experiences.

George, Branson is only 3 hours away from us!!!  Please let me know what dates you'll be there and maybe Gary and I can drive up?  Wouldn't that be fun?  Jan C lives just a stones throw away, as does Jeannie. We could have a GTG!!!

I have LOTS of clients who go there regularly, I'll ask them as I see them this week.

Take care!

Susan

Six is the name of the one, and I was looking at that.

Noah closes in October.

Right now we are considering:

The Osmonds
Andy Williams
Jim Stafford
Neil Diamond Tribute
Tony Orlando and the Lennon Sisters
Shoji Tabuchi

We will probably do six shows.  One afternoon and one evening each on the 30th, 1st and 2nd.

Right now, probably the best time to get together might be Sunday night the 29th (it is the Sunday after Thanksgiving).  We have plenty of time to plan.

My daughter just got back from there,,and this is what ehr family enjoyed,,I asked her what she would recommend,,heres her reply..

Tell him to go to www.reservebranson.com and take a look. You can’t get a better deal on tickets than this website and the seating is excellent. We bought all our tickets from this site

Six (if they see nothing else, see this!)

Kirby VanBurch

Shepherd of the Hills (outdoor drama)
Everything is good but I definitely would suggest these three.

Blessings!

I have no recommendations for shows, but if you're going to Branson, you should check out the Titanic museum ... really cool! Something you could do during the day.

Hi George!

I love the Dixie Stampede.  If you decide to go, be sure and go early so you can walk around the outside of the building are see/read about all the horses that are in the show.  It is well worth the money plus the dinner is fantastic (or at least is was prior to WLS).

Also we enjoy the Butterfly House, Ripley's Believe It or Not, the Titanic. and the Vetrans Museum.  There is so much there to see and do.

Enjoy and have a great time.

O how I wish we were going to Branson with you. Years ago my husband and I went,an had so much fun. We stayed for 7 days, and also went to another state and went to a very old museum in a small town that had alot of the war items in them as well as medical supplies that they used during that time.
The state is beautiful hills and valleys,We have so many good memories from that trip .we often still talk about it.
Hope you enjoy your trip with Mary, and also are able the meet the people on the boards.
I'm really jelous of your wonderful trip.

i wonder what would happen if  we planned a spring time OFF in Branson , do any of you think you would come>??
George from most of the locals and all they say if they were coming to see shows that  6 would be at the top of the list ive not seen it but my sister has and she said it was the very best one down there as far as she  was concerned. and she has been to alot of them ....
you must go to the new Branson Landing  which is shops and and resturants right along lake Taneycomo....not especially to shop but just for a nice place to walk right at the lakes edge on an easy platform walkway.....if Mary wants to shop go to one of the two outlet malls there. at that time of year they have lots of good sales because of the decrease in sales.
just some more ideas  ....
