What are we eating and what's eating us, Tuesday
It is an alright day to me today, nothing really out of the ordinary which is good I guess. I hate unexpected things to happen.
Food yesterday was alright, again nothing different really.
B: Wheaties and milk
L: toast with ICBINB
D: beef stew
S: pretzel sticks (I am hooked on them right now for some reason)
Hope you all have a great hump day and I send you all love and hugs to go with it.

So far today I've had:
B: 1 egg with 1/2 slice of lowfat cheese
Snack: Protein shake (23 g protein)
L: 4oz homemade chicken salad with lowfat mayo and lots of sugar free pickle juice to moisten the chicken breast.
Snack: Protein shake (23 g protein)
This is the first time I have posted my food, I was 2 months post-op on August 25th (yesterday). I have lost a total of 47 pounds including the 10 day liquid diet. I am 50 years old with hypothyroidism but it's corrected with meds. And I think my weight loss has been slower than many. So, I thought I would see what people think about my food log. Am I what you would consider on track or am I off track?
Typically, for the remainder of the day I will have about 4 oz of protein for supper and a sugar free fruit cup or a cup of skim milk before bedtime.
Sound about right??? Or is it off kilter??? Thanks for sharing! connie

p.s: If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you always got...

Well, I am going to try this putting my food down and I hope it will work.
I had a endoscopic exam done today at the hospital this morning. When I woke up they gave me some hot tea and some Lorna Doone cookies....never should have eaten the cookies, they made me hungry so we stopped for breakfast on our way home.....I wanted some scrambled eggs and toast, but instead I ordered a special that had pancakes on it and ended up eating 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and one pancake with sugar free syrup.....not good. My husband was shocked he said "That is a lot of food for you, you don't normally eat like that"...true but I am sure not perfect.
After we got home I slept for awhile and then got up and had a salad with vinegrette salad dressing. Now I am getting supper ready.
We are having grilled beef filets, instant mashed potatoes [90 calories in 1/2 cup] and a fennel and red cabbage slaw and dressing made with splenda.
I am having a wine glass of grape juice before dinner while I write this.....I doubt that I will eat anything else this evening after that. It is 70 calories for an 8 oz glass.
My doctor told me today I had to stay between 800-1000 calories and ABSOLUTELY no wine.
So I am working on getting better...It looks aa if I will have had more than my fill of food for the day.
