I'm sad.

Susan sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always hard... But as they say it is better to have loved..
I  know you were glad to have him in your life. Life was a bit brighter because of Sherlock. Cute
name for a dog. A friend of mine named her dog "Rolex" her watch dog..he-he!! Take time and take care of yourself one day at a time. Sorry to be so late in this reply

Oh Susan, I can so relate. Our little Yorkie Rocky died with an aneurism right before our eyes one night, very suddenly. We had had him for ten years and it broke our hearts. My husband cried like a baby while he cradled him and told him what a good boy he was. It was horrible. For days I cried, because everywhere I looked, he wasnt there anymore. He was my shadow and never let me out of his sight. I will never forget him, or the pain I felt at losing him. So, my prayers are with you and your honey today.

Every day will get a little easier, especially if you have snothr animal to focus on. We got Taco, our long haired chihuahua, ver soon after. My daughter got him for us and it was the best thing she ever did.

Go ahead and grieve,,he was a family member, but try to remember the good, funny things and not the last few months with him. He blessed your life for awhile,and you blessed his, now there is another animal that needs your love and attention. God bless you dear, hang in there.
