Good almost afternoon Eileen and everyone...

Many thanks to all that posted replies to my post yesterday.  I would be lost without all you terrific friends. Many, many thanks again!!!

I worked out at the gym for 2 hours today. I went to a few garage sales on the way to go tanning.
Then I went and filled up my gas tank and had the car washed.
Now I am waiting for the Internet service technician to arrive. My main computer keeps going off line for no reason. Thank goodness I have an Aircard for my laptop...works great!
I am getting so fed up with this Internet service. If they can't figure it out today I am canceling the service with them. They  said it was my computer last time they were here. I had a friend who is a computer whiz tell me it wasn't my computer's problem at all. I got a new computer and it still does it....UGH!!!!!

I am not working today...obviously...just enjoying the quiet time.

Nic, Jamie and Grace made it back to Iowa yesterday afternoon. All is well....Jamie missed her hubby and the kids missed their dad. I hate that they have to be apart so often. Travis has to work....bills need to be paid!! I help them out as much as I can. I know it is a real struggle for them. They sure don't deserve any of this!!

I think I will go take my book and sit outside and enjoy the sun while I wait for the technician to arrive.

Had another great bike ride this morning (12 miles)!  I'm having some strange pain in the side of my right knee so I may not ride tomorrow just to see how it goes.  If the pain persists or gets worse I'll try to get it looked at.  I'm switching Dr's (leaving that quack I told you about), so my first appointment with the new Dr isn't until the 3rd week in Sept so if I do need it seen I'll probably just go to the emergency room.....now way I will go back to that kook!

I've had a lovely quiet afternoon by myself today....
I had time to wash more windows, vacuum the wooden blinds, oh boy, I can see a smudge on one of kitchen windows..will have to re-wipe that.
Anyhow, just doing a few household things as I get ready for surgery next week.  Confirmed Buddy's vacation reservation today.....he'll be at the Paradise Palms Pet Resort for a week.

Well just stopped by quickly to check the board and to check the stock market (have to see if I made money or lost today).  Back to chores.......
