LAPBANDERS OVER 50 (AND 60)
Good morning, all! I would love to see more lapbanders over 50 and 60 (I'm 61)
on this site and I wonder why there aren't more over on this board.
I admit I'm a bit frustrated right now and could use some help. I go between this wonderful site and the regular Lapband site, but on the latter, the ladies seem to be, from their pictures, in their 30s and 40s.
I do see Jean and Katie on both, but that seems to be it. Maybe a new "Lapbanders over
50" would be in order. What do you think?
Maybe I should be posting this on the regular Lapband site - that would make more sense.
Thanks.

Me, too. I thought I had educated myself thoroughly beforehand - went to two seminars and read the lit - but nowhere, for instance, did I know about the fills and the affects of them. In a way,
I'm glad I didn't know because I might not have had the procedure.
I really think lapband is for younger people who can exercise more. There are the exceptions, of course. I do need to start practiceing patience, but when you get older you dont have these big
banks of time anymore!

Why don't you post threads on the Lap-Band and Realize Band forum inviting bandsters over age 50 to come visit OFF?
I've done that in the past and members would respond with thanks because they didn't even know OFF was here. And some (older members) would respond that they don't want to hang around with "old people"! (To each his own, I guess.)
Also, when I'm looking at posts on the band forum and a member specifically mentions that they are age 50 or older, or they look older and talk about their grandchildren, I invite them to visit OFF.
