What we are eating,and whats eating us,Sunday!

So today I had a little red beans and rice,back eyed peas,and half a hot dog,enjoying my protein drink now!

How are you feeling? You are still in the rehab center? I am not sure from the way you wrote your post. I talked to Olivia the day after your surgery. Did she tell you? We were all wondering how you got through and so I thought since I have her cell number I would call her and so I did. We were all going nuts wondering what happened with the surgery. You know us...we just hate hanging!
Food is about the same as usual. The protein is alright I guess. It could be better but at least it is higher than before.
B: peach and glass of milk
L: sloppy joe meat...that was good...it was Manwich bold..good stuff
D: toast...just wasn't hungry
S: pretzel sticks
I know I should have done better but I am doing the best I can. I have to be satisfied with that.
I am going to bed. I am so tired and tomorrow is going to be a long day. Church and then I am doing the nursing home service. Our church does it on the 5th Sundays. This is my month.

The physical therapist will be coming 3 times a week,and one came today very nice,although of course,the exercise hurt like the dickens.

Welcome back, Linda! So glad that you are here and doing well..don't worry...we are all here for support.
It's 2:30 am and here I am..Id gone to bed at 1am but after an hour and a half of tossing and turning, Im back downstairs..heating a bit of soup. I never used to have so much trouble going to sleep.
My skin is itching something awful under my panni..in fact, the skin is peeling! I apply moisturizing lotion but it still itches.
This is my menu for today, Sunday:
B LF cottage cheese w/unsweetened crushed pineapple
S banana
L home made high protein-high fibre soup
S a wierd but tasty concoction of CoolWhipLight, Protein jello and lemon yogurt all mixed together (too bad it didn't set well..oh well, I have a spoon!)
D roast chicken & spinach
S cheese & crackers
Lots of water and all of my supplements

Your special dish sounds yummy,how about doing it in layers next time?
I spoke with some one else regarding Cool Whip. We are tasters when we make something,but with Cool Whip,all you need do is taste it once and put your spoon back into thr desert,and it will not set!

B and L - Sonic breakfast toaster, minus one piece of bread.
S - chicken and stuffing casserole.
Snacks - Pretzels, cheese.
