I did absulutely nothing today. I played on facebook then read for a while and did somemore planning for the family reunion that is going to be May 31st......
I got home at 2am after watching my Miss Lily. after watching et for 2 times I think I have that movie memorized.
Tomorrow I am taking my reseme over to the Hospital cause they have a fulltime insurance verification job open and I have 25 years experience. I applied on line but I think Ill have a better chance if I show my face with reseme in hand. I hate applying for jobs on the puter.
Tevia got outside for over an hour today. I didnt realize he was outside that long. He must have pushed my front door open. I found him under our truck playing with a geco. Plus he was roaming around the back yard looking for something. He is my escape cat!!!!!

Carla...good luck finding a job. I have a feeling you will be snapped up. But what happens to your frequent travels.......you will have to slow down on that. Price we have to pay I guess to make ends meet.
Ruth.....I'll be waiting to hear your results after surgery. I'm sure you are excited. About nine months ago now I had a panniculectomy, a cut from hipbone to hipbone and it has healed so great.....barely a scar and my belly is flat flat even though I have put on ten pounds since then. Good luck to you.....exciting time.
Susan, I can certainly see why you are glad when August is over!! My mother died in August, too....on my son's 21st birthday!! Sad day when we celebrate his birthday.
Connie....It's so nice to hear that you had a fabulous weekend. You have been through so much crap lately.......you so deserve some fun, love and laughter.
Maui is gorgeous today....temp around 80 and light tradewinds gently moving the many palm trees in our gardens, and the ocean is smooth and I can see turtle heads pop up now and then and a fish jump.....so wonderful.
Last night I went out to dinner with a friend who is leaving tomorrow to be gone while they are termite tenting our building. The restaurant is right next door and rated the best on Maui. BUT...it is expensive. Even with buy one get one free special....our bill was over $110!! And I didn't even have a ****tail....but my friend did.....wine and grand marnier......$30.00 for just those two drinks. I won't be going there very often that's for sure. But the food was to die for........ono (white fish) with macadamia nut sauce, fresh asparagas with more devine sauce and au gratin potatoes so soft and cheesy....oh my!! I brought my leftovers home as well as my friends.......surf and turf ($61.00) so I'm having those for the next couple of days. This is the friend whose rental condo next door I'm using for the week of tenting. She just called and is in the middle of double plastic bagging everything in her freezer, pantry, etc. I'm NOT looking forward to that!! We have to be out by the 13th!
Brenda....I feel for you with Kayden. When I stay with my THREE grandsons (1,3, 5) I feel like I'm the energizer bunny.....never stopping until I collapse after everyone is in bed. It is just too much for me for more than a few days. This January I'll be doing 4 days while my son and DIL go skiing somewhere in the world....don't know where yet...but only 4 days!! I might just survive ! Ha!
OK...time to do chores.........the vacuum cleaner has been calling my name for several days now. Two cats......much hair!!

i think that today i will celebrate AUGUST 31st as the end of a horrid month.... and go forward!!!! my eldest granddaughter starts middle school this morning so i am feelin old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank goodness she is 5 years older than her next sister so i won't have it all happening at once!!!!

Good Monday morning everyone! I am not sure how Monday can be good but I guess someone thinks it must be. Personally I would like to relive the weekend again. At least Saturday anyway. Yesterday was to long for me.
Kayden is coming in a few hours. Oh boy! I have yet another headache (or is it the same one from last week...I have lost track) and I just don't feel up to having him all day. Bill is good but some things he just can't handle. Like the crying and the dirty diapers. You know...the parts of babies that I just love...yeah right on that one. Who wants the crying and dirty diapers...no one I know. I hope that he is in a good mood today.
I went to bed early last night and feel asleep watching television. I woke up about an hour ago and just laid there since I couldn't go back to sleep. I got to worrying about the workman's comp and all the garbage that they are doing. I just want to scream. Bill has been out of the hospital for 2 weeks now and he still hasn't seen a doctor. No one will tell us what workman's comp doctor to see nor will they approve his seeing his own doctor. His doctor doesn't want to see him because they don't want us to get stuck with the bill..and I don't either. I feel like throwing my hands up and saying to forget the whole thing but I know that I won't. I am just so frustrated...
I have to go to the library today. My books were due on Friday and I still haven't gotten there. I just have to bite the bullet and go today...without Kayden I might add. I can just see me lugging him around with the car seat. That dang thing is heavy! I have renewed them hoping that the book that I was reading would get better but it didn't help. I now have to renew my card. They do that every 2 or 3 years to keep unused ones weeded out. I forgot all about them doing that. I tried to renew them on the computer and it wouldn't do it. I called the library and told them and so she renewed them for me and told me that I have to update since the card is expiring.
I have to go see the Pastor some time this week. He mentioned to me that he had his meeting with the District Superintendent and he had a lot to talk to me about. Heaven on knows what is going to go on now. I am so glad that this committee is going to no longer my problem come the new year. I have had it for to long I think. Nominations committee (yet another committee that I am on!) starts meeting next month...I just can't wait for the new year!
I think that I am going to get off here for now. I am just so tired and still can't go back to sleep. I am going to be dead on my feet by the time Kayden leaves for home this evening. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers for everyone is being said too. I hope that you all have a great day and don't forget to smile..it spreads happiness and we all need some of that in our lives.

Brenda, don't give up on the WC. That's exactly what they want you to do. They make it rought so you'll give up and they won't have to pay. Same with social security disability. I've not known one person to be approved the first time. Oh wait, one person, he has ALS, so SS knows they won't have to pay for very long. The buggers.
I admire your ***** taking on Kayden every day would take me out! But I understand not wanting to miss anything.
