Did I get it right today, September1st 2009
Didn't sleep worth a darn last nite......seemed like I was watching the clock all night. Had to be up early to have my van at the repair shop for an oil change at 8 a.m. That's done now, I'm home after stopping at the grocery for a few items.....neighbor brought me a huge pail of tomatoes, so I am going to try making pasta sauce today....it will be a big job, but hopefully worth it. Takes 7 lbs. of tomatoes plus peppers, onions, carrots, and a bunch of other stuff. Going to use some of my fresh basil and thyme out of my herb garden too. I am using my Mom's handwritten recipe....so it's bound to be wonderful.
Better get at it......put some music on and start peeling and chopping.

Good September to you, Carla and my other OFFer's. I have only one thing to say about August...good riddance to bad rubbish! It was a month from hell....no two ways about it here!
Bill has an appointment with a w.c. doctor this afternoon. They finally got him one when he raised hell with the insurance company. He told them that we were going to see an attorney when she told him that it wasn't a w.c. claim according to the hospital records. Then later on during the conversation she told Bill that she hadn't received anything from the hospital or the doctor. I called the doctor and talked to them. They faxed the records to the insurance company on the 26th and got a confirmation that they received it. Then the nurse made a note on the file that she talked to the woman herself and told her that they have no record of this being a previous health issue. Then the woman from the doctor's office said to me "Are they being truthful with you?" and I told her no but no one has been honest with me since this whole thing started. I have never been treated so badly as I have been from this company and their w.c. insurance company.
I go to the I.D. doctor this afternoon. I know that it feels much better and I am anxious to see how much more healing there has been in the last week. I guess there isn't much more healing it needs to do. I really can't wait until this bandage is off my tummy and I can take a shower...and when I can shower I am going to stay in there until the ho****er turns cold!!!! So if you don't hear from me for a while you will know where I am at...
We don't have Kayden today. DIL is off and so she has him. He was so good yesterday. He knows that he is so loved and just grins and coos all the time. I love this time in his life...he watches so much. He found the clock that is on the wall in the living room..he just kept staring at it. Just like he found the sunlight on the ceiling and kep****ching that too. His eyes are so bright. They are dark blue and just dance when you look at them. He is such a happy little guy when he is here. My heart just soars each time I see him. I never thought that I could love someone that much.
Well, I am going to get moving...it is getting late. I slept in this morning...didn't wake up until 7:30 and then Misty laid on me for a while purring and getting her special time. It has been a long time since she has been able to lay on me and get loving. Now that I am feeling better she can do it. She is in heaven when she does that.
I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Have a great day and remember one thing....AUGUST IS OVER WITH!!!! Don't forget to smile and share your happiness and joy with others.

Great News. I'm a grandma again. The world is such a sunnier place when you get the blessing of a new life. Tess Amelia was born this morning. Mom and baby are healthy and happy. We will be going to visit on Columbus Day weekend to see her and her brothers and sister. Now I have four grandkids.
We had a fishing derby with our cub scouts last night and it was loads of fun. It will be good to be starting back as a cub scout leader. My days have been just work and home. Being with the kids makes me feel young and invigorated. It is also good because I'm a lot more active.
I need to give my house a good cleaning which I think I will start tonight after work. Not my favorite thing to do but a necessary evil.
