Good Wednesday Morning - The What's New Revue!!!
It's like a lovely fall day here in southwest Michigan.....low humidity, temps in mid 70's and sunny.
Worked this morning -- hope I get some new stuff soon or I will be scratching for something to do.....guess I've been too efficient....lol
The pasta sauce I made yesterday turned out good.....got six cool whip containers full, plus gave my neighbor lady a small container. It took forever tho' - I started at 9 a.m. and finally finished washing up the dishes at 1:30 p.m. It is thick with vegetables and has some lean ground sirloin in it as well.
This afternoon I am defrosting my deep freezer.....it collects frost big time on the top shelf -- the gasket doesn't seal real well but it's too costly to replace, so I just defrost it once a year when it gets too thick. Wanted it all cleaned out to put in my newly processed foods.
Have made up a batch of vanilla protein ice cream. Also went out and picked more green peppers from my little garden. Have a big green one on the "red" pepper plant I planted, if it doesn't turn red soon, I will pick it before it goes bad.
Sorry about your White Sox, Eileen.....
School starts here next Tuesday.....doesn't seem possible summer has gone by so quickly.....it will seem strange not to be teaching piano this fall, but I am going to stick by my decision to retire from that job.
Judy, glad Rick got his back unemployment FINALLY.....

70 I would NEVER remember....it's called "old timer's disease".
