Schedules
I have a DayBook that I use faithfully. I used to have one of those desk calendars hanging up in front of the kitchen sink with everybody's schedule on it..different colour for each of the four of us.
Now I just schedule my own obligations so I switched to my DayBook.I depend on that..I even love the little pull-off tab at the bottom outside corner so I know Ive already dealt with HAT day and can easily find my place in the book..(small things amuse small minds, I guess *s* )
Today I created a huge calendar of just September & October to give me a better overview, trying to find time to get out of town a bit but I could not..what with sorotity, BPW, Board Meetings, Life Path -1, and the two other LifePath groups that I now lead, my appointments and Mother's appointments, I just cannot get away.
I'd be lost without my DayBook now. I used to always remember everything in my head...now I need my DayBook as life has gotten so much more complicated.

My life revolves around appointments. No appointments, no money. So, my book goes with me where ever I go, even on my day off. All of my clients have my cell number so they can make an appointment any time, even if I'm not in the salon. They like that they can just call me when ever and not have to wait for a specific day when I'm at work. It has bitten me in the arse...one lady called me at 10:45 at night thinking she was leaving a message at the salon. OOPS
I really try not to actually schedule for days off, which is not to say I don't plan anything. There are always things to do....laundry, housework, groceries, OH, computer games. But I really try to keep my days as unstructured as I can so I don't obsess about "stuff".
