Welcome to OFF. We are a lively group here. We become like a large family and share a lot of our lives with each other. Please feel free to jump in and join us in our conversations. You are always welcome. I started out my OH life posting on the IN board and now OFF is the only place that I do post on. I feel so much more comfortable here.

Please post often so we can get to know you and again, welcome!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

and it was wonderful, too, george!!!!!
good morning!!!!
i had a wonderful day yesterday-my hour or so with my findagrave friend turned into 3.5 hours!!! and we met the most interesting man at the cemetery- a native of the village and the current care taker of the cemetery- and a wealth of info-and it felt good to tell him about Red Thomas!!!! this man lives about 10 houses down-up?-from me so i will go visit again before i leave...

oh! my list--i have named it my BIG list-Big Island Go! (thx maui karen! ) simple and stupid but i had to do something! when i say bucket ppl think i mean before i die-and i DO have a bucket list but this list is more "time sensitive"!

this morning, i had my first cup with the sunrise and the hummingbirds...

we have to get michael's phone issue fixed this morning then we are heading out on the road to go to summit cty for the family plots! there are more family members who are possibly buried there so i want some time to explore!
sending hugs and prayers to all today....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

good grief George how in the world do you do all of that? i would have conked out long ago. from confusion more than anything else. ?that is 20 hours? what are you on i want some ....

well today is the second day of my garage sale ....i counted my money out this morning and i made 135 dollars yesterday  yea!!!!
where we live is way way out of town and down by the lake and every time i have a garage sale i do really well . it surprises everyone that i do so well down here.
it rained all night last night i hope it is done for the day....yesterday it held off raining until about 3:30 and that was about quiting time anyway so will hope and pray that is what it does today....what ever i have left from here is going to the womens shelter resale store here in town (The Hiding Place) that is my favorite donation ....
I guess because i was a batter wife for many years and would have loved to have found some place safe like that to go to.
Thank God that i found a great and wonderful man now and we will have been married 22 years this Dec...
well got to go ....get myself ready for today.

I'm not on anything.  Just a man doin' what he's gotta do.  I actually took off at 5:30 this morning (45 minutes early), came over to the part time job and took a 90 minute nap.  Felt a little refreshed, but woke up with cold sweats.  Okay now, but sure am looking forward to going home in an hour and a half.

I'm  up earlier than I like because my current little one is a screamer and woke me up to early with another bout of night terrors.   Poor little gal!!!   And I can't seem yet to convince her she is safe with me,  She is terrified of  Steve,  well all men basically.    Will just have to keep on trying .  I plan on spending the weekend trying to sweep mop and vac the house!  Its driving me nuts!!every time I try to do anything that involves my  right arm and putting pressure on it it hurts!!!   But my house is a mess!!!!     Steve is working 70 hrs a week and trying to get the garage built but he does try to help some.    Insurance will pay to for a couple hrs a week for help  but either the ones who want to do it  are too busy and want to wait another few weeks  or  will only do the dusting  and such that I can do  and and won't do the sweeping dusting and vaccing I Need doing.
Oh well enough whining!!!!!!    I am off to make my little one some french toast with blueberries for breakfast!!!!
Hope all have a safe and fun holiday!!!!!
