PHONE CALL FROM MOM...
Judy:
Sorry you are going through this. I sure know how it is being far from your family when there is a health crisis. I was 1,500 miles away in Montana when my dad was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer and there was nothing I could do about it but cry (luckily, I had a caring boss who paid for my airfare home so I could see my dad before he died ... of course I had to pay it back, but it was better than not being there at all).
We are all here for you, as Brenda says. I have never known a more caring bunch of people as those on this board. You are in my thoughts. If you need to talk, I'm here for you. Just call (or maybe I'll call you).

Aloha Judy........Sometimes life just sucks!! You have so much on your plate, but I Know you are a strong woman and will find a way through it. You have your Rick to give you support and love through it all.
Caring about your ex is a very dear thing to do. My two ex's are both best friends,.....and I choose to remember and treat them from the perspective of the great and wonderful times we had together, and NOT the unhappy, destructive memories as my focus.
I wish I had a magic wand yet again........I would wave it and 'whoosh" all would be fixed.
With so much aloha,
Maui Karen

Gosh - I hope things get better for everyone in your family soon. Of course you would have feelings for someone you were married to. It's just that helpless feeling. Good for you to get support.
