way OT---facebook problems.

I need some help with facebook. Technical stuff. For the last day or so, I can't post on a thread, can't comment, or even post onto my own profile. I can read threads, though.

I can't open "help" topics to reas answers even to try to figure this out. Crazy thing is I can do all of this on my laptop, just not my desktop, which is my main computer.

Virus scans-nothing. Reboot--nothing. Sign out/back on---nothing.

They don't have any technical/customer support system, which is crazy in itself. I couldn't even ask a question of a friend who is a computer engineer!!!

Anyone with a suggestion or two???

have you deleted your cache and history?

Susan, I wish that I could help you but we all know that I am so computer illiterate that I couldn't help anyone with a darn thing where computers are concerned. It is amazing to me that I can do what I can on them. But then again...Facebook still makes me crazy at times. Or I should say more crazy than I already am! But then again what else is new?

I know what you mean, Brenda. I'm just getting a little more confidant with computers, but only marginally so. My laptop is okay, so I went onto FB and sent a message to my friend who is a computer engineer. I hate to have to go so far as to ask here and FB, but even Gary(who is really good at these sorts of things) can't figure it out. He's not much into FB, so he doesn't really know how to navigate it either.

Have you tried going to facebook help on your laptop?  Also, what about going back to the day before the problem occured on your desktop and restoring it to that day?  Otherwise, no other ideas.
