What are we eating and what's eating us...Labor Day edition

I got an e-mail from Linda and she would like for me to take the thread over for a bit. So...here I am starting it for her. I hope that everyone keeps our Linda in their good thoughts and prayers.

Yesterday was just a day for me. I really can't remember what I ate... I do know that I had some cereal for breakfast and hamburger for dinner but I can't remember what else there was. I just kind of walked through the day and didn't walk far either....if you know what I mean. It was just a day of vegging and veg is what I did too. I slept most of the day away. I was in bed more than out of it I think. I had problems sleeping the night before and trust me I made up for it during the day. Then I went to bed and bam! I slept the whole night too. I should hope that I am caught up on the sleep problem now. ha ha

Today is a cookout at our nephews house. Just a nice and laid back today....just David and his family and that is it. David loves to cook and he is making lamb  and then some ham or turkey I guess. The ham or turkey will make me happy....  Then he likes to make new recipes too...then get my advice on them. We share recipes and tips and he asks my opinion on a lot of things with cooking. He is a sweetheart and so much like his Uncle Bill personality wise than he is like his Dad. Now Jimmy (our other nephew and David's brother) is like his Dad and not at all like Bill.

I hope that your day of rest is just that...a day of rest that you can be able to look back on and have a big smile in the memories.

I am sending love and hugs to all...........

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

went out for lunch with DH, had soup, and some salad bar, with a tiny bit
of dressing.
