Kinda OT: Journaling You Life

Jan, when I became a Grandma 4 months ago someone on here gave me the idea to keep a journal for Kayden and give it to him when he got older. I got 3 of the nicest little books with sweet little sayings on the fronts. I know what I want to say and I just haven't started them yet. I will shortly...I can feel it because I am thinking more and more about them. I have decided to give them to him when he gets married. He has become even more of a part of my life since I am watching every day when Mom and Dad work. He is my heart.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

 Brenda,

For many years I kept a small booklet of fun things our grandkids would say or do.  It is absolutely hilarious to read them back to the grands now that they are older.    It wasn't a journal but when a cute incident happened we would write it down.

Also, those birthday, Christmas and whatever cards are fun to go through.  I kept a scrapbook with the cards and a swatch of wrapping paper.  Ironically, I don't do scrapbooking.

Kayden may not be into it but his wife (long time down the road) or kids will get a clue into his life.

Ok....  I'm wandering through my ramblings...  lol
