When the story's in the paper, I'll post the link for you. Her name is Barb Jenness ... she sells her goat cheese to several restaurants and stores around here. If you go to Mlive and search for her name, you might find the story already (and we've done stories on her before).
I have milked them but mostly to feed to kids. I did use to have a dairy goat too that I did milk. Made the best clam chowder

i'm up and have had some eggs-working on coffee now and getting ready to face the work week, albeit short!
my weekend was wasted- too much time on the computer -some useful some fun but didn't accomplish much on the should do list! tho we did manage the cemetery thing on saturday for my BIG list!
did manage to write some checks -pay a few bills....
sent an email to two of my kids and impatiently waiting a response-feeling like marc- -they want me in their own time! at their convenience!
going to go look at our bank acct online- may be back....
roxie goes this afternoon for her blood draw-again!
need to do some cleaning of the back bedroom aka guest room/attic/basement/storage shed---my mom is coming next week to spend a week so i must find a spot for her to sleep!
i think we are going to list with a realtor this week...

When I got home from group, Tom said Matthew refused to go to bed until he spoke to me. I called and he answered. (He's 2 years old.)
He wanted to know my favorite animal and when I was coming HOME. Matthew only considers his house as home. Those were very important questions.
Mary told me that he had found a picture of us, carried it around all day long. At one point he picked up the phone and began dialing. When asked, he told her that he was calling grandma.
Tom may get strangled before Thursday morning. Each time I settle down and relax, he reminds me how long until I get on the plane. Starting to get more angry than nervous. - maybe that's his intent?

The weekend, or long weekend, flew by and now I'm about to be out the door for my long day. I am not fond of Tuesdays because I am at school from 7:30-9:00. I have office hours in there but I'd rather be home in my comfy gown.
Yesterday, hubby and I bought the kitties the three tier tower with two tunnel rooms and two scratching post. They could not even wait for us to get into the house before they started trying to invetstigate. I put it in the corner by the long window and they have pretty much occupied it the entire time. Hubby didn't want to pay so much money for it, but I reminded him how much joy we get from the girls and how they need their little space all their own and then I added that I had read those awful essays and saved the money and that was the reason, to buy the tower. But when we got it home and he saw how much the cats love it, he said that it was a good deal. He said the cheaper one was wobbly and might have fallen. I really didn't care if he liked it or not, I was going to buy it. I know that sounds harsh, but I worked extra, saved the money, and that was the reason.
Today, back to the saw mill.

damn double damn...so i had to wake him up to tell him this costly lesson and the possible ramifications of his actions- and i pray he has now learned not to trust everything he sees in email....i am ashamed to even tell you about this because i know how it happened but i have to share it cuz i am devastated that it COULD have been more serious...and it is thru sheer stupidity..................
i wish i could vomit-that's how sick i feel...credit union opens at 830-i will go to work late.justifiably...damn what a way to start a short week.....

Last year this exact time, I had someone steal my ID. They had all of my banking information, every credit card payment with phone numbers and it took months for me to get it all straightened out. They tried to open more credit in my name and did get away with $3,000 - which I was not held responsible for. I was so angry. I closed every one of my accounts and have an extended fraud alert with the three major companies. Ugh, what a nightmare.
I hope you get your credit squared away this morning. So sorry this happened to you!
