It's time for the Tuesday What's New Revue!!!!
Hi everybody!
A beautiful day here...I hate to see the end of what little summer we did have however, Fall has it's wonderful points too...harvest...I do enjoy putting away fruits and veggies for the winter..such a treat during a snow blizzard to open a jar of local peaches or a bag of local strawberries. Thos year, my garden fizzled out due to excessive rain and my plants mostly drowned. But we are getting enough peaches, pears, tomoatoes and peppers to enjoy fresh but not enough to can much. I managed to get enough strawberries to make jam..sure would like to find a way to make totally sugar-free jam..last time I tried, I ended up with fruit sauce...lol.
Tonight, we begin the new season for our sorority dinner meetings..I look forward to seeing all the galls..there's about 28 of us now. Programmes are my responsibility for the last eight years or so...I keep records of who did presentations and tag those who are due again..it's a requirement that each lady makes a presentation of some educational type per season.
Looks like I don't have time to get a quick manicure done before the meeting..I ruined mine by processing my summer savoury bushes...oops!
I sure do feel sad that I'm missing the RedHead's big party but I just don't have the $$ this year however I do know that they will be having such a blast...there's nothing like having girlfriend time!
Our weekend was slow & easy and comfortable...some studying..some partying at SIL's birthday party and I actually have a rather easy week ahead!
Still struggling with this office clean-up...so back to work!

Thank you, Linda!
I've been looking for that since last year ...Im sure those products exist but I haven't found anything like it here in Canada..we are often slow to get those new products *pouts*... have found pectin that uses LESS sugar but none that will accept Splenda yet.
It sounds like it is VERY important that we make a trip to the US, dont you think? *hugs*
