Renee, there is no package. The thread is just something that we do each day on our own. We post on here what we are going to eat for the day (it doesn't have to be exact since we know that life does change during the day too) or we post what we ate the day before. Whatever works best for you. You can change too...our whole point is that we need to have the flexibility to get through life and know that we don't have to live to eat but instead eat to live our life.

Linda S. usually does this each day but she has been not feeling to good lately and she sometimes misses. But please feel free to join us and know that we don't butt in your food plan unless you ask if there is something that you can improve on. Your plan is just that (at least this is how I feel...can't talk for others) yours and no one else.

Linda also adds to the post what is eating us. This is where we can say things knowing that if we have a problem there will be someone here to help. I like to think of this place (Over 50's Forum on a whole) as my safe place to fall...and we all need a place like that.

Please feel free to join us each day or when you can.

Good morning Pat R.....thanks for starting the thread today!

Nothing to complain about today...everything is going prettty smooth.

I have a dentist appointment at 2:00....no big deal just a cleaning and check up. I have the greatest dentist!!

B-Boost High Protein Drink
L-chef salad
D-fresh crappies and green beans...yumo!!
S-???fruit

Hello Pat and thanks for starting the thread this morning. We really appreciate it.

Food yesterday was just food...and that is it. I am just having problems with it for some reason. Not sure what is up but I just wi**** would go away for a loooong time. I just want to be normal..but what is normal? I have never known the answer to that question. ha ha  If you all have one let me in on the secret, alright? Thanks!

D: 3 T of beef and noodles (homemade...it was alright...just alright)
S: pretzel sticks

I have to go to the store with Kayden and get a few groceries. Nothing much because it is such a hassle hauling the baby around. I can't wait until he can just sit in the cart and not need the car seat. But...that time will come soon enough.

We are back from taking my neighbor to the hospital for a mammogram. He was so good...but then again he usually always is. I am blessed with a smiling and chatting baby grandson. He is almost perfect and notice I said almost! ha ha  He may have some bad habits...like wanting to held all the time....but he is mine and that is the most wonderful thing in the world. I have to get off my GSB....which is short for Grandma Soap Box.

I am going now...have a good day and know that I send you love and hugs and prayers are being said for you too.

Hi!
My food is still a little "off" since surgery but certainly doing better.

Yesterdays food.....

B- 1 egg, toast, veg
L- Tomato stuffed with canned salmon
S- Fiber one cereal, 1/2 apple, 2 prunes
D- Green beans beef, mini roll

My appetite is still not back to normal but also the surgery binder is so tight I just can't eat much.  I'm making sure I drink lots of water so I can flush out some of the fluid from my swollen body (this is worst part to me........the swelling.......I can cope with post surgery pain better than being swollen).

Off to get to lunch now........not hungry but need my protein.......

I missed you all while off visiting my daughter, Sara, and the grands.  My food has been off and I'm looking forward to getting back on track.  So far just coffee today.

B Kashi/yogurt
L tuna salad
D steak and vegies
snacks: apple, cheese, WW ice cream

Hi OFF friends,

Breakfast:  Refried beans

Lunch:  Refried beans with Greek yogurt

Dinner:  Salmon patties.

I'm going to add up my protein and probably will have to supplement with a protein shake later. 

Everything is good in my neck of the woods today.  Have a great evening everyone - gosh, I just realized it's 5:03 p.m., where did the day go? LOL

Happy Thursday, everyone!

Another beautiful day here...again, Im plucking tiny dried leaves off of my summer savoury bushes...now I have enough leaves stashed away in glass quart jars to last a year...it's wonderful on any poultry and in soups!

B   Matrix hot chocolate protein drink made w/ skim milk powder to double the protein content
