its Friday Revue
good morning everyone
well, im just fibbing its a wet, rainy, dreary morning here in New Jersey
its been pouring since last night and I think it will stay the same all day.
The only good news is that its Friday, yeah!!!!!
had an awful night, couldnt sleep, had tea for my tummy ache late last nite.
i guess i finally slept a few winks and nows its barely 5 a.m and im up again.
oh well, maybe today will be a great day at work.

hoping today goes quickly at work so we can get to the weekend--our family reunion is sunday with my mother's father's family-then mom comes monday for a week--i'm anxious to have her here!

Good morning Jacki and Margo,
I had a difficult time sleeping as well. Woke up at 2 a.m. and probably slept 1/2 hour total from 2-4 a.m. when hubby's alarm went off. He hits snooze for 20 or so minutes and then gets up. I finally got up, put on a pot of decaf and started work. I'm finding it difficult to stay motivated since I'm tired and dragging. Sure miss that caffeine - whaaa - lol
It's chilly and rainy here. Took a hot shower and put on my warm sweat pants, long-sleeved shirt, warm socks and slippers - lol - now I'm ready for a snooze - lol

Today is the Western Washington Fair starts. It's considered one of the largest in the US. Oh it will be fun. I'm going with my DIL and two grandsons. We are going to look at the exhibits and animals today. Next week will be "play" day when they do all the rides. I love seeing the excitement on the little kids.

Morning to you, Jacki and my OFF family. I hope that this Friday is great for everyone.
I have Kayden here for about another hour and half or so...and trust me on this when I say that I can't wait for his little bee hind to hit the other side of the door. He is doing nothing but screaming and kicking. He was obviously held all last night for some reason and now that is all he wants. I have made sure that he is alright and he is in his chair...and just screaming and kicking his feet...not a tear in his eye. He is madder than an old wet hen. Please come and get him and bring some peace!!!!!
Bill is working afternoons today instead of the morning and afternoon like he was suppose to. I just wish that they would let him know what is going on so he doesn't have to get the answers on his own. He had to call 2 people to get the answer on when he goes in to work. I think that is rude and they wouldn't stand for that to happen to them...I know that for a fact.
The weather here is warm and sunny. I have the air on but it is on high so it isn't cold in here. It is comfortable and that suits me fine. Bill is having hot flashes..I told him that they are a ***** aren't they? He just glared at me on that one. I told him that he needs to figure out how to cool off since we all are getting to cold in here if he puts the air on what he wants. So now he is laying down since he got so up so early and he has the fan on in the bedroom blowing on him. That makes him a happy camper and so that is fine with me.
I better go...sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Smile and bring joy and happiness to others...and smile for some joy and happiness toward my part of the world will you all....I live in North West Indiana...right by Lake Michigan if that helps you figure out where to look when you smile.

I slept pretty good considering my knees are bothering me. I hope you are feeling better. Try peppermint tea for your tummy if it's bothering you ... it always helps me. Especially if I'm gassy (TMI, I know). Celestial Seasonings makes a good peppermint tea; also has a tea called Sleepytime which is good for when you can't sleep!

It is a beautiful day here, and will be for the next seven. That'll be two weeks of sun and no rain. I guess I brought the good weather up here with me. I can't believe it's almost 3:30 in the afternoon already. Where has the day gone? Hubby isn't coming up this weekend, but my brother is coming for four days. That'll be really nice to have him here. I love it when he visits, he's such a good guy. He's the kind of person everyone likes. It runs in the family you know...
I've been sleeping like a log lately. I guess the exercise of unpacking is helping. Today I unpacked two more boxes and did the vacuuming. We got a new vacuum, a Bissell Pet Hair Removal vacuum. The first time I used it I was shocked at how much dog hair it picked up. This time it kept leaving clumps of hair. I vacuumed the whole place and then went to empty it. There was barely any hair in it at all. I turned it over and checked and it didn't seem to be sucking. Then I noticed that the hose wasn't hooked up to the sucker thing. I hooked it up, and had to re-vacuum the whole place. What a pain, but this time the canister thingee was full of dog hair and dirt. Made me feel worthwhile.
Jacki, I hope your tummy is feeling better and that you can get some sleep. I find hot chocolate helps relax me so I can sleep, but I haven't needed it lately.

Sorry Jacki. If I had seen yours, I would have deleted mine. We posted within a minute of each other. The only time I came back before I left work was to answer replies. I did that through my email, so I never saw yours. But, not to worry. You can never have too much revue. Gives people twice the chances. Have a good weekend.
