TGIF - What's New Revue... Stop on by
Yesterday I made vegetable juice from my bounty of tomatoes.....haven't tasted it cold yet. It was a long job and lots of dirty dishes to wash.
Today is work (going in early) and then our fall soup and salad luncheon at my church at noon. I am usually the ticket seller so I get to greet everyone who comes. I cheated and bought potato salad to take for my contribution....local grocery has delicious potato salad and a lot less work than making that much at home.
That's my news, so better finish my yogurt and get ready for work.

Gary said much the same thing and crabbed about it a lot. I finally said, "Look, we bought the house for half of what we sold it for so we actually made 100% profit. We used it for 26 years and got something out of it so why ***** No, we didn't make out as well as we'd hoped, but we certainly didn't lose. So shut up and lets get on with it." MORNING GEORGE AND off FAMILY...
well today its chilly but the sun is out!!! i go into work at 430 til 9 (hate that shift!!) will be nothing but cleaning up after the one before me and then some...we are getting ready for audit (inventory) so things are all stressful galore!!! its like hello people!!! if you do your job right all along you wouldn't be so stressed out trying to get things cleaned up and done right before they show up to audit!!!! gezzzz got yelled at for the orange syrup (pop) being expired tuesday and i wasn't even there to get it changed...sighs...talk about the boss stressing out....then the manager of the store is sitting in food court drinking a pop and says to me that all these flies are all around him and could i do something about it...i told him if he took a bath or shower more often the flies wouldn't be around him....LMAO he did snicker some at my joke...lol but seriously there are alot of flies and now bees everywhere!!!! nothing i can about it...i asked for a flyswatter and was told NO!!! soooo
this weekend there is a perch festival in fairport ohio. we will go to that for the perch dinner and then come home and watch NASCAR race. i will have to get up early because i work the early shift sunday. so thats about it for me this weekend.
my rose bush looks like it is coming to life here with me since i transplanted it in the container on patio. still burns me up that "someone" dug out the other 3 and threw tham away!!!! :-(
ricks back/leg is still killing him but he is walking more upright again. he called the dr and got an answering machine and left message for them to return his call so he could make an appointment...they never called him back...i told him to call again!!!! gezzz are all men that incapable to think of calling again??? sighs...
talked to one of the residents here in apartment complex this morning and she said she had a letter from the manager stuck in her door...she said that it said if she got one more complaint of her and her dog disturbing other peoples dog..making it bark she would have life without her dog!!! sounds like a threat to me...this woman is a sweetheart and her dog is also a sweetie and i have NEVER heard of anyone complaining about it bothering their dog!!!! there is a couple dogs that bark ALOT for no reason and now i hear this....i am sure this manager of apartment is after this woman for going to the owner because of the fall she had because of the raised sidewalk and she tripped and fell...so far the only thing being done on the sidewalk is its got some red paint on the area....now that is supposed to fix the problem???? i think NOT!!!! this place is sure going down the tube fast!!! if there was another place we could afford in a nice area like this one we would get out of here fast!!!! but then i am sure it will still have problems so why bother moving....sighs...
ok i am done blabbing here as i am sure i bored most of you....LOL have to get to bank and then get some housework done before work today. also need to send out a couple more payments on bills and wait til we get the electric bill and cable bill and then we are all paid up til first of the month!! wooohoooo!!!!!

Kayden is here for another hour and a half or so...and I am glad to see him go. He is screaming and kicking and raising the roof because he isn't being held all the time. I guess that is what they all did last night. He doesn't have a tear in his eye but he sure is kicking and having a fit beyond all fits. I have done everything that I can think of to make sure nothing is wrong with him. I am so tired of this I could kick and scream myself. At this moment I just want to see his little bee hind hit the other side of the door.
Bill is working afternoons today instead of days. I just wish that they would let him know what he is doing instead of waiting until the last moment. I mean they wouldn't like having to wait for a call and then finally making the call yourself to know what is going on. I think it is just plain rude. But then again we are talking about working for ABM so that should just be a given I guess.
I guess I should go. I have to tend to Mr. Big Mouth...he is driving me more nuts than I already am....so that just means that I don't have far to go from being over the edge. ha ha I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are being said for everyone too. Have a great day and don't forget to smile...it spreads joy and happiness...and by the way...can you smile toward North West Indiana for me to have some joy and happiness? I need it right about now.

My knee is still bothering, so I went to bed late and got up at 11:30 a.m. I stopped at the chiropractor in the hope that it was my back that was causing the pain in my knee, but nope, it didn't help at all. My back is feeling better. I did pick up some more Biofreeze (they let me postdate the check for next week, when I'll have a big paycheck). It cost $12 for the rollon, but that stuff last so long. I bought the last one in February, and I'm just finishing it up now. Good stuff, really helps a lot.
You do sound busy, George. I couldn't keep up. I'm too tired after work anything bu****ch baseball at home and sleep. I work today and Saturday, then Sunday I'm going to Chicago for my sister-in-law's birthday. Still don't know if my brother Gary is going to be there because I haven't heard from him. I know he is busy since he got home from Texas ... I'm sure work piled up at AIG as they get ready to close the office in Milwaukee. He'll be unemployed in November. On the way back from Chicago on Monday, I'm going to meet with Paulette and Brenda (and maybe meet Sir Kayden).
I had plans to make some zucchini bread this morning, but don't know if that will get done. I'm too pooped right now. I haven't even had coffee yet. I'm still drinking my protein shake (it's my own coffee concotion of a vanilla protein mix, with instant coffee and sf Kahlua syrup ... it's pretty good, actually ... add a little ice and put it in the blender).
George, I remember 9/11 very well. I was thinking about it last night, in fact. I had worked in the features department the summer before and just got back on the news desk. We were putting out the paper (I was doing the business page) when all hell broke loose. Suddenly, the whole newsroom was clustered around the TVs ... even the sports department. We were ripping up pages right and left. My boss got permission to bump up the paper four pages to accomodate the news. Later, we put out an "extra" early in the morning ... we had to come back earlier. I got no sleep. It was exhilirating but frightening. I didn't know what was going to happen in our country. We have all survived.
Well, I should get off the computer and go do something. I need coffee. My protein drink is almost gone. Have a good day.
Another late day for me and I wasn't even working today. I did my 2 hours at the gym @ 7:00. Then I hit a few garage sales....how fun!! After that I bought groceries....then went tanning. I just gone home alittle while ago. This day is just buzzing by!!
Having boyfriend problems....not sure how much longer this will last. He is just too grouchy and moody way to often. When we have fun we really have fun.....but otherwise...UGH!! He is getting back to his old drinking too much habit....I won't put up with that!

After an uneventful flight I am in Dallas with the Sistahs!!!!! Had a geat night talking and laughing most of the night last night. Went to sleep around 2am.
today we went to lunch at Grapevine and shopped and went to the resale shop.
Now we are going down to dinner at the hotel!!!!!
It is wonderful to be around Janet and all the otherrs who post. It is like Ive known everyone all my life.......
