I HAVE A QUESTION....
Hi Judy:
As far as I know many WLS products are made with soy and it is a good source of protein. I cannot eat a lot of soy products because I have low thyroid and take medication for it and the soy interfers with my thyroid medicine...

Done! Your Ticker:
Whey protein is the kind of protein that we absorb the best. Soy protein is not bad for us, but, for example, if you have something that is soy with say, 25 grams of protein, just don't rely on absorbing that full 25 grams as you would if it was whey protein. Here is a list of the amounts of protein we absorb from different sources:
Protein Source BV
Whey Protein Isolate Blend 100-159
Whey Concentrate (Lactalbumin) 104
Whole Egg 100
Cow's Milk 91
Egg White (Albumin) 88
Fish 83
Beef 80
Chicken 79
Casein (a protein from milk) 77
Rice 74
Soy 59
Wheat 54
Beans 49
Peanuts 43
