Hello Marcy....so glad you took Annette's advice and joined us!! Annette is an angel....I just love that gal!
I am older then dirt...I have two wonderful daughters and five terrific grandchildren. My daughter Jamie has two children...Nic 16 and Grace almost 3. Carrie has three children...Kyleigh 17...Amanda 15...and Lucas 11. I am blessed!!!
My grandson Nic has been battling Cancer since he was three...still fighting the monster!! He will win!!!
I work for a company out of St. Paul, MN. I find training and jobs for low income people 55 years old and older. I love my job. I only work about 24 hours a week as I have COPD and a few other things, I work from my home and that is wonderful. I set my own schedule so that helps on the really bad days.
I had my WLS two years ago August 29th....I have no complaints....I am so happy I did it....the only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Yes Annette is and angel. I'm not supposed to see her at support group till the 21st, but I'm going on Monday to give her a surprise birthday gift. She is always cold, and she likes this fuzzy coat I just got myself..so I got her one too. She is going to freak!!!
You are not old as dirt... thats my wonderful mom who will be 80 in January. Myself I am 56..years young. I never felt older than 30.
I just got back from the shopping trip...geez I really need to just not ever go shopping again. I just spend too much money!!!! But I also bought things for my granddaugter which I can never resist doing.
I have surprise company...we'll talk later.
