I wish that I could drink boost. 

I made the best salad and was not going to eat any, but instead of doing my snacks, I'm eating the salad.  I only used cucumbers, deseeded tomatoes, purple onions, and mushrooms.  I covered them with a little olive oil and redwine vinegar.  YUMMO.  It sures is good.  Hubby has even been going in and getting some for his snack.

I almost ran out of chili.  Whatever would  I do without chili for lunch?  haa haa

I made a small batch last weekend. Just enough to get me through the week.  I usually  make a larger batch and freeze half.  This way I only make chili every other week.  I would have thought that I would have tired of so much chili by now.  I can't believe how my body actually functions with or without it.  I tend to drop (blood sugar) if I don't have the stability that chili gives me.  Very high in protein.  

Yesterday I had homemade salsa and chips.  My blood sugar spiked to 247 then dropped to 91 before I caught i.  Why ???  Why ???   Why don't I learn not to do that.  I loves salsa, its good for me but the chips ... sigh  taste so good ... at the time.  Now today I'm lethargic from the spikes and drops.

AND..... Life goes on.

I hope Linda is doing well...  Actually, I hope all of you are doing well.

Hi!

Had a class this morning so ran errands after...grocery store, Bulk Barn, drug store, bought Mother's groceries to her place, cleaned her room, washed her dishes...had dinner with her.

B     Matrix hot chocolate protein drink made w/ low fat skim milk powder

S     none

L     chicken, 2 bites mashed potatoes, green beans

S     peach

D     meatloaf, sweet potatoes, beets

S     peach

Today was not a good food day for me.......
I ate:

start - Whey protein and procare (powdered vitamin and protein mix)
B- oatmeal
L- 1 slice pizza and salad
S- 1 apple, 1 square dk chocolate
S-Whey protein and procare
D- Soy Protein and Whey Protein shake

I had steak two nights in a row...   Of course, my shopping habits are just starting to change, and I walked away with two steaks for DH and myself.   Well, one steak lasted two meals for me..
Unfortunately, the second did not go down very well ...
