So, how was dinner in Dallas?
In all honesty, the one thing that amazed me the most of the dinner was how young everyone looked. Seriously, some of you gals need to update your avatars. You looked so much younger when I met you. If I had tried to guess the ages of everyone there, not knowing it was the Over Fifty Forum, boy would I have been wrong. But there would have been a lot of smiling women.
Just a side comment on my entrance. When I came in, I was wondering how hard it was going to be to find everyone, outside of the fact that I know Janet. As we walked towards the restaurant, I saw the flashes going off. I told Mary that was them. Then, when I walked in, I walked up to Janet and gave her a hug. You should have seen the looks on some of the faces. And I actually heard a couple of "Who's that?"s. Then, someone recognized my face from my avatar.
I really can't say enough of how great it was to be there.
